A nationwide manhunt is under way for a missing employee of an armored-carrier facility and his girlfriend after thieves stole more than $7 million dollars from the Ohio company earlier this week.
Roger Lee Dillon, 22, of Youngstown, Ohio, is wanted for questioning by the FBI after not showing up for work at the Liberty, Ohio, after the robbery was committed.
On the morning of Nov. 27, employees discovered the safes containing $7 million in cash and checks empty. The burglars also deactivated the alarm system and disabled a surveillance tape during the robbery.
Special agent Scott Wilson, from FBI's Cleveland bureau, told FOXNews.com that Dillon was employed at the facility for the past nine months. He said although there is no warrant out for Dillon's arrest, he is wanted for questioning because he would have access to security codes and combinations.
"We consider him armed and dangerous because of the severity of the crime," Wilson said.
Authorities also want to question Dillon's girlfriend, who has also disappeared. Nicole N. Boyd, 24, is not considered a fugitive from the law and is not an employee of the facility.
The couple was last seen in a 1999 GMC pickup, Ohio license plate EGL-6652, and are believed to still be in the U.S.
Wilson said agents are reviewing Dillon's MySpace page, which they believe reveal several hints of the crime.

The (myspace) page, which was last logged in on Nov. 26, also describes Dillon as a Wiccan.

He really looks like a mastermind.
He's a richun.
Gosh - I wonder why he quit work?
“”We consider him armed and dangerous because of the severity of the crime,” Wilson said.”
Translation: This skinny pr*ck stole our money.

the myspace page sounds like he wants to die
I’m going to guess that the girlfriend put him up to it, and then will likely kill him once she has her hands on the money
Ah yes... 22 years old all the confidence but non of the foresight. Here is a tip for those at FR tempted to do a crime....
Those that investigate crimes do so day in and day out, the smallest detail that you over look glares at them and points fingers where you will not have thought of. Since most people do not have the experience of doing crime they do not know what they do not know.
These punk kids will eventually use their ATM card, be seen at a gas station and the system at FBI will light up a computer screen like a christmas tree. It is just not worth it.
Not a mastermind.
He watched a special on TV.
They had the Wells Fargo Robbery on TV a few months back.
Identical, down to the last detail.
Hey, FBI. In the first robbery, the guy stored the money in a RENTAL STORAGE FACILITY, and hid himself in Mexico.
Just trying to be helpful.
Again our family picture is abused .........

Now read this excerpt from the article:

Anybody else see a little bitty problem here?
I think if this kid had anything to do with the crime, he had inside help from the management -- which is not missing, and should be getting VERY closely scrutinized. If you had management responsibility for an armored car company facility where millions of dollars in cash were routinely stored, would you make security codes and combinations accessible to a 22 year old kid who looks like THIS, and who has worked for the company for only 9 months?
...anybody want to take a guess at what that kid was making an hour?.....think that’s got something to do with this?....
PS....a friend of mine who is retired FBI says that people occasionally DO get away with it....at first....but eventually they miss friends/family and get worn down by the strain of life on the run.

would you make security codes and combinations accessible to a 22 year old kid who looks like THIS, and who has worked for the company for only 9 months?
************************************
Wouldn’t surprise me in the least ,, they have a hard time recruiting ... I worked with a person who had the same position as this kid (back in the 1980’s) ,,, back then they didn’t run proper background checks or anything , this old drunk worked there under a fake name/ssn to avoid child support... As to the problem of avoiding the detectives I have a very amusing (and true) story about a group of detectives that moonlighted for an armored car service and stole from them daily for over 20 years.

think they’ll find them dead? They both seem obsessed with it.
I do have to say that at least this kid didn’t rob a bank for the $3000 that most idiots do, or a 7-11 for the $400 they have in the till and he didn’t use a gun either.
Being a thief isn’t the goal anyone should have but if you’re that determined why not go for the big bucks like the execs do. Who is the Congressman who sold his reputation for $100K, the stash was in his freezer?
Sounds like a replay of the Charlotte, NC heist.
How could the safes contain $7 million in cash and checks and be empty?
Kind of like, "how much dirt is in a hole measuring 2' x 2' x 2'?"
lol - well this one makes sense

Police hunt for stolen Guinness

Gardai in Dublin are on the lookout for 36,000 pints of beer stolen from the Guinness brewery.
-snip-
The stolen trailer has since been found at Slane Hill in County Meath. It was empty.
Yeah, I saw the Guiness thread earlier. Somebody’s gonna have a heck of a Christmas/New Year’s party this year.
The girl, on the other hand? Definitely could be the “thinker” behind the guy. (Not that either seems to be thinking too much, but ...)
A rich witch.
LOL JUGHEAD you nailed that!
Not really hard at all if you have 7 one-million dollar bills. Getting change can be a bitch though..........
Send it all too me and I'll show ya how easy it really is to hide that much money.....hell send it in dimes or pennies and I will PROVE how easy it is.......:o)
How could the safes contain $7 million in cash and checks and be empty?
***********************************
Yeah , some real genius wrote this story ,,, I doubt the armored car company has a clue as to the value the checks that were in the safe(s) (still don’t know why the checks were taken unless they were in mixed bags),, my guess is that the safes previously contained $7M in cash AND checks of an unknown valuation... 20 lbs of used $100 bills is $1M ,, I’m assuming a mix of all common denominations here and am guessing that they left the 1/2/5/10 bundles behind in a u-store-it facility as they are too bulky and are traveling with approx half the cash $3.5M at an average denomination of $50 making for 140# total weight ,, easily toted in 2 large suitcases.
I think they might pull it off ... especially if they’re smart enough to not cross borders or try to fly. If it were me I’d have bought a camper through a straw man buyer and would be staying in campgrounds and paying cash for at least 1 or 2 years.

CLEVELAND - A couple wanted in the disappearance of $7 million in cash and checks from an armored car company was arrested Saturday in West Virginia, the FBI said.
Roger Lee Dillon, 22, and his girlfriend, Nicole N. Boyd, 24, were arrested early Saturday morning outside Beckley, FBI Special Agent Scott Wilson said.
Agents recovered "a large sum of money" at the time of the arrests, Wilson said. The FBI planned to hold a news conference on Monday, Wilson said.
