Somebody please wake me when it gets here.

Head feels like that lady's head on the commercial - as it blows up like a balloon. (Ugh - it bothers me to watch it.)

Good morning, Everyone. Good morning

Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for today’s activities.

DC Metroland weather report
~ Today....Sunny to partly cloudy. High 52F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.
~ Tonight....A few clouds this evening, but mainly clear overnight. Low 32F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Not cold enough around here for snow, but it'll be nice enough to clean up my yard this weekend. It's been very windy around the DC Metro area and now we have bunches of leaves lying around. Plus, now that it's cold enough it's time to clean up the flower bed and empty the flower pots and store them for the winter.

Good news.......I sold my other car.

Praise the Lord! I decided not to trade my car in when I bought the new one, cause the car is in very good shape for it's age. I knew I'd get more for it by selling it outright. I just didn't know if I had the patience to "wait it out." Sometimes, selling to a private buyer can take a long time, not to mention frustration. But, it's finally over. I hope the car is as good to the new owner as it has been for me.

Time for me to make my rounds. But, you stay right where you are. Don't touch that dial. Don't change that channel. Put down that remote. Don't leave the room. Keep your eyes on your monitor. Cause...............I'll be bock!

Come on and join us for a refreshing break. We really like to have fun here at the Canteen.

Now remember, the Canteen is

So, come on in and sit for a while. There's always plenty of coffee, pancakes, conversation, silliness, and plain old BS

REMEMBER THEM

DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM

FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT

Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allied military and the family members of the above. Honoring those who have served before.

(many thanks to wonderful Sonora for the cute smiley woo hoos)

Hmmmm, wondering what kind of day it'll be ...

I poured 12 cups of water into the coffee maker and didn't still a drop (highly unusual!) ... good day

I can't access geocities.com from work anymore and I have material out there that I use ... bad day

I can't seem to even access it through search engines or even acknowledge that anything is still out there, so I can't even set up a link for others to use ... oh, well.

But hey, it's Friday and the last day of the marking period, so a lot of the borderline kids and the ones that have deluded themselves will be on their best behavior today. And the others are cutting... good day.
