She is Limbaugh’s girlfriend? Well, there’s no accounting for taste. Oh, I can understand the looks, but there’s something of the college freshman about her. She kind of reminds me of my 18-year-old niece, in her looks and in her mannerisms. The difference between my niece and her is that my niece is not an idiot.

Full disclosure about that. I think most people were glad that something, anything ended Cosell's career.
Remember when Howard quit anouncing boxing when Tex Cobb got beat like a drum? I loved it when Tex said he'd take another beating just as bad if Howard would quit announcing football. That was priceless.
But, point well taken about the double standard.
