NO —— it is MSNBC, not CNBC. I called NBC and asked for her. Her line is busy. My guess is that it is going to be off the hook all day.

Full disclosure about that. I think most people were glad that something, anything ended Cosell's career.
Remember when Howard quit anouncing boxing when Tex Cobb got beat like a drum? I loved it when Tex said he'd take another beating just as bad if Howard would quit announcing football. That was priceless.

I didn’t see the context of which show this was, but it appears to me to be a morning report. Chatty-Cathy narration of the news has become the status quo for that time slot.
I wanted to confirm the # before I call it, and I believe their website has emails. Not sure who will read them.
