"No, it wasnt. It was a sloppy attempt, reminiscent of a mainstream media trick, to tie Dr. Paul to George Soros." And why not? 90% of his supporters can be.

"Dr." Paul?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! His cult like following even calls him "Dr. Paul" too funny. He's an obstetrician, why shouldn't he be called "Dr. Paul?" You don't call your own doctor or dentist "Mr. Jones," do you?

You don't have to like Ron Paul, but making accusations by innuendo, rumor-mongering even in the form of a question is despicable. If you wish to campaign against him - I urge you to do so on the basis of his record (including his personal life) and positions. I.E. has he a history of treacherous family relationships, has he worked to expand or decrease the size of government, what foreign policy experience does he bring and if weak how will he augment his cabinet, what about the border, what is the Federal roll in economic policy, education etc....
Liberals have lost the debate on issues and are left with the kind of campaign exemplified by this post - let's win on the issues, not by being the nastiest defaming miscreants.

Sadly, FReepers have adopted left-wing tactics when it comes to Dr. Paul. They're being the wild-eyed conspiracy kooks that they accuse us of being. But I say let them trash Dr. Paul, because there are lurkers who don't know about Paul, and when they see the disgusting attacks against him, they're going to do their own research and end up being supporters.

I sense a lot of fear on this site, and this is an appropriate thread to point it out, because I didn’t see everyone heaping on Ron Paul until he started raising money.

(From his website. Sure wish that others running could show this much responsibility. I know, he is kooky but)
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.
He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

****Dr. Paul just crossed $10 million in fundraising for the 4Q.***
And he has a shot at beating Rudy’s 3rd quarter total (best in the GOP) in just two months. Most of which has been raised on line at minimal cost to the campaign.
Plus he has over 112,000 individual contributions this quarter.

Since I support Ron Paul and I am not anti-semitic or racist, I resent that statement.

You and I support Ron Paul; therefore, it goes without saying that we are anti-Semitic and racist.

I think it is a good question to ask. The visual in Post #1 shows a network of groups supported by George Soros. It is interesting that the visual omits groups that I know are supported by Soros. It would be just like Soros to support Ron Paul.
In my area, there are large 3’ x 5’ Ron Paul campaign signs up all over. That takes lots of money. Who is paying for the signs? This is money that could go into the campaigns of Republican candidates who do have a chance to win. To me this is like putting a sterile queen bee into a bee hive. It something that a devious man like George Soros would want to do.
Again I ask my fellow Freepers, can we trace where Ron Paul is getting his money?
