When an abortion proponant expresses concern over “life” it’s usually one they didn’t get to terminatge.
The press conference is not a debate or an interview. Ask your QUESTION and possibly a FOLLOWUP. Don’t deny the points and use it to continue to blame America for the evils of the world.
Take a stand and move elsewhere to decry how “rotten” the US is. And then move back the next time a Democrat is elected and ignore the continuation of much of the foreign policy and say how much better it is now. “those are OUR planes now”.
It’s seriously time for Helen Thomas to be led back into the barn:

Under Saddam’s Iraq she would have had her tongue cut out. In Fidel’s Cuba she would be arrested for “mental illness.” She would not last long in Chavez’s Venezuela either.
I was in Germany for thirty years. Somewhere along the way, the Europeans discovered deoderant. But back in the ‘60s, I attended an opera in Vienna, in a box near the stage. My wife and I sat down and soon we were nearly overcome by the smell of the old ladies seated in the box below. Evidentally, they were wearing their best wollens, which had not been washed for years. Maybe not aired, either, which was the normal thing. But we got used to it, watching the show with unusual attention. After all, we had come very late and got a bargain price, which we now earned.
I feel terrible for Helen Thomas that God made her so ugly.
I believe everybody has the potential for true beauty. However your flesh eventually conforms to the shape of your soul.
Look at the faces of the old people you know and compare their faces with their ways. You’ll see.
