Correct. It always seems that the white folk not running companies in Mexico are on the novelas.
Venezuela is arguably more multiracial/multiethnic than Mexico, in that it attracted immigrants from various parts of Europe and the Middle East, along with blacks brought as slaves, Indians, and the resulting mixtures of all of the above. Mexico's population is largely mestizo (mixed Indian and European, with the European component largely coming from southern and western Spain) and full blooded Amerindian, with pockets of whites and Asians scattered largely in the north.

You are correct, Batista, a Mulatto, was the only nonwhite President Cuba ever had. Interesting that Cuba’s current dic-tator is the son of European immigrants, yet presides over a country that is now probably 80% black or mulatto. Where are the race baiters on THAT issue. ;-)
