Medical marijuana and blindness regarding the Jihadists wish to kill all Americans... that’s what’s motivating the wacko’s supporting L Ron Paul.

Perot's problem was that he was too transparent. He, in his heart of hearts was a dyed in the wool socialist.

He made his bucks by selling computers to his buddy Cuomo who ran the welfare state of New Yarkansas.

Sorry sport, although I agree with the sentiment, I hardly believe that Islamofacist killers would vote for any woman especially one who "doesn't know her place" and isn't a burka wearing baby factory.

That's the real tragedy about the Left, they are unable to comprehend that they are the very people that would be the first to be killed. Whether it's Osama ben Laden or "Uncle Joe" Stalin, Liberals would be the first to be lined up and killed and they are so arrogant they can't even comprehend that fact.

Sorry, what started out as a smart-a$$ comment turned into a rant. Some people just bring that out in me and HilldeBEAST is one of them.

You got that part right.

The 'brains' behind the islamic jihad movement would use anything, or anybody that would fit into their scheme of destroying western civilization.

Hitlery knows in her 'mind' what her place in history should be, and is hardly a baby factory.

Well, we are in need of a revolution!

Very true, but not the Ron Paul kook version.

The reason there even is a Ron Paul type of revolution is because he is filling a vacuum of leadership from the conservative movement

You can thank Bush for that

How about a find our collective spines, grow a set of cajones, be a true conservative revolution.

Perot ran on the de-Reform Party. Here's their website Reform Party

Kindly point out the socialist platform Perot ran on............

Not a Perot supporter at all, but let's get our facts straight.

Perot isn't a socialist, just the guy who give us the worst President ever and his wife

Q: And how did a third-party candidate get any support at all, when an incumbent Repubican President was running?

A: That President had already ticked off most of the country - including his base - with backstabbing actions.

You want to be angry with someone for giving Bubba the Presidency, go right to the source: Bush 1.

If by "placating" you mean leaving muslims alone when they do nothing to threaten us, and ruthlessly tracking down and killing them when they do, then yes, he's in favor of that.

I guess you support bush's methods of addressing the security of the US... declaring war on a tactic (terrorism), attacking countless people and other countries that had nothing to do with 9-11, leaving our borders completely unsecured, allowing radical muzzies to recruit converts in our prisons and schools, actively recruiting muslims to emigrate to the US, kissing saudi a$$, etc.

If you want to live in constant fear of a bunch of ignorant cult members (muzzies), can't you just hide under your bed instead of helping destroy what's left of our formerly free republic?

That's the real tragedy about the Left, they are unable to comprehend that they are the very people that would be the first to be killed.

From what I've seen happening around the globe, the idea is to create division and unrest to bring down an existing government using any means necessary in the hopes that they will be able to fill the void.

The prime historical example is Iran. The commies worked along side the Islamic extremists to oust the government and then the Islamofascists promptly showed the commies the door.

It's happening in Iraq with the Kurds and Turkey, in Pakistan, Africa, you name it. It's happening here but in a less visible manner. All the socialists here work under cover because the word commie is still a four letter word to most people. Even so, they are no less marxist and their goals are still the same.

And, beneath it all, that's the problem with Paul, isn't it?

He is dead on with some critical issues -- 10th amendment, size of government -- and such a flaming kook on others (WOT, foreign relations, drugs) that it tends to make all of us who support limited government look like blithering idiots.

Good article.

I have to wonder how much "traction" Huckabee's message will have in the country as a whole.

He appeals to an important segment of the Republican Party, but probably alienates more independent voters than he attracts.

Ron Paul is trying to span a pretty wide gap -- from paleoconservatives to capital L Libertarians to "alienated youth" to the anti-war left.

He can't please all those groups, but since he's running a purely protest campaign it doesn't matter.

Ron Paul is a bi-product of the new media.

That is not to say the new media is bad. The freedom to interchange ideas and find information far outweighs the problems with the new information age.

During the Roman Empire, speakers would get up in public and start talking about whatever was on their mind. Crowds would gather to listen. Crowds would wait for their next speech.

In the late 1700s, pamphlet printing gave voice to every type of idea. Some people would wait for the next printing to see new information.

These revolutions in disseminating information led to both great leaders (Jesus) and crackpots (Howard Dean).
