Television talk-show host Montel Williams threatened to find and "blow up" the homes of three Savannah Morning News reporters Friday while he was in town promoting free prescriptions for poor people.

"As we were preparing to film, Montel walked up with his bodyguard and got in Courtney Scott's face pointing his finger telling her, 'Don't look at me like that. Do you know who I am? I'm a big star, and I can look you up, find where you live and blow you up,' " Cosey said. "At this time he was pointing randomly at all of us."
"He was really mad. He was angry at me," Scott said. She is a 17-year-old senior at Jenkins High School working for the Morning News in an apprenticeship program through Savannah-Chatham public schools.

I think his anger maybe justified but misplaced. He needs to find Maureen Dowd and give her a some of what he was giving this 17 year old apprentice.

This was obviously a case of extreme astigmatism in which he confused the girl with an inflatable doll. Hence the “blow you up” comment. This shows poor judgment because it wasn’t his doll to blow up.

He mistook this student for a reporter who had been harassing him over a different matter. His statement:
"I apologize for the misunderstanding. I mistakenly thought the reporter and photographer in question were at the hotel to confront me about some earlier comments. I was wrong and I apologize for my overreaction."
That is the kind of soft ball question drug reps knock out of the park every day . He must have got some paraquat .
If some “star” threatened me, I’d ask them if they want to race. (meaning, would you like to see who can get to who first?)

He must have been off his "meds" and I don't mean the prescription ones for MS. This was a perfect opportunity for a drug company spokesman, which is what he is, to tell the company's side of the story and an opportunity to explain all the good they do with the $ they take in. What the heck is his problem blowing an opportunity like that and acting like a typical prima donna has-been?
What's really sad is that to certain people, you're some sort of oddball if you distance yourself from the current culture that is Hollywood. I don't watch many movies anymore, and on another website someone actually labeled me a "Nazi" because of it. It's funny...primarily because it's so pathetic.
