With some tweaking, I am now able to calculate the ratings for the Sunday talk shows for last week instead of the previous two weeks ago. Of note: after two weeks of decline, Fox News Sunday's interview of Fred Thompson created a spike that brought Fox to its highest numbers yet, approaching those of Face the Nation when factoring in the prime time replay. Meet the Press peaked past the 4 million viewer mark last week, continuing a strong upward run. We'll see how long this lasts, although I think I may need to revise the MTP numbers slightly upward because there's also a redeye broadcast on NBC around 2 am that gets about 100,000 eyeballs. Face the Nation continues to oscillate wildly. I don't know what's going on right now, its ratings for the past few months have been stable and now they're going up and down by 500,000 each week. This Week continues to slide after spiking four weeks ago.
Data derived from Nielsen Media Research ratings for live broadcasts as publicized by numerous Web resources. Numbers for Fox News Sunday and Meet the Press include numbers from prime time replays on Fox News Channel and MSNBC, respectively. All numbers (c)2007 Nielsen Media Research.

FNC just had a PRO ABORTION REPUBLICAN as the “balance” in a Giuliani discussion about his security billing issue.
Some republicans for choice group.
more proof the dinosaur media is not dead and in fact is alive and manipulating well.

FNC goes all pro-Giuliani all the time and their ratings plunge.
Must suck when their best ratings are a result of a massive bump from a RINO’s conservative opponent and they STILL can’t beat a clintonista staffer.

I bet his spiel on how well The Hildabeaste performed under pressure (hostage situation) will be particularly brown, steaming and pungent. Remember what Rush says.
Nothing that happens to the clintoons is coincidence.
With the "gay general plant" [plus others] at the Republican debates on the clintoon news network, being part of the Hildebeaste's gay and lesbian "steering committee", and getting basically caught, what else could they do? A convenient little "hostage" situation and have her "calm, cool and collected" in the eyes of the DBM.
How presidential of her to act like that. < /sarcasm>

Webb: al-Qaida had not been in Iraq before the invasion.
Didn’t even take 2 minutes for lie number one.

MTP Jim Webb has tied himself in knots with a yes or no question. Is the surge working?
He’s talked for 3 minutes and has yet to answer the question.
Jeez! Is he running for Hill’s VP?

Hillary Clitnon would be very good with a “one for the gipper” moment with a dying bill clinton or as a jackie o widdow.
Imagine the time magazine cover, “the new jackie o”
We already know the left dances on the coffins of the dead. (see cindy sheehan)

Fat Tim back to his usual. Webb has been filibustering for quite a while and not one “gotcha” interruption.

Not one sane, thoughtful credible person on CNN. Nothing like packing the deck with Neo Isolationists Surrender Monkeys for a discussion on Iraq! And CNN wonders why people call them the Clinton News Network?

Watching Rove vs. Van Hollen on FNS. You can easily tell who’s the more reasoned one here.
Rove is saying “We can do this, here’s what we have to do.” Van Hollen is being a cheerleader. “We rule! Republicans suck!” This Van Hollen character is a clown.

Webb: The WaPo has strongly editorialized in favor of this war from the beginning. LOLOLOL.
(After Timmy read a long piece giving credit to the military, Petraeus and the President)
Webb loves the word “overarching.” He thinks it makes him sound really smart.

He works from 9 to 5 and then,
He takes another home again,
To find me waiting for him.
