Bill Clinton: Wife's record not covered

By PHILIP ELLIOTT, Associated Press Writer 15 minutes ago

Bill Clinton said Tuesday that if reporters covered the candidates' public records better, his wife's presidential bid would be far ahead of her rivals.

During a campaign stop on behalf of his wife, New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, the former president said he can't understand why so much of the media coverage of the campaign ignores her experience — and, without naming him, the relative lack of experience of her closest Democratic rival, Illinois Sen. Barack Obama.

"One percent of the press coverage was devoted to their record in public life. No wonder people think experience is irrelevant. A lot of the people covering the race think it is (irrelevant)," Clinton said to students at Keene State College.

Clinton referenced a study from the Project for Excellence in Journalism that indicated much of the coverage of the race is dominated by daily horse race reporting rather than about policy issues.

"Sixty-seven percent of the coverage is pure politics. That stuff has a half life of about 15 seconds. It won't matter tomorrow. It is very vulnerable to being slanted and rude. And it won't affect your life," Clinton said.

Clinton also said his wife's bipartisan work in the Senate proves she can accomplish her campaign's message of change, and that records matter more than rhetoric. He said that when voters look at records and accomplishments, they will see clear choices between the New York senator and her rivals.

"I would pick her and be here if we weren't married," Clinton said.

“I would pick her and be here if we weren’t married,” Clinton said”

As others have noted long before, Bill Clinton is an unusually good liar.

As this demonstrates.

Doubtful, Bill. I think you’d be hiding in the hills of Bolivia with a few Hooters girls before you endorsed the candidacy of someone like Hillary.

one of the techniques Bill uses is this...
“ I will remind you ....
“Like I have said many times before..”

Then he says whatever he wants to say even though he has never uttered the words in his life. It puts reporters on the defensive as though they didnt catch something the first time.

I almost passed out from shock because I actually agreed with Bubba on something.

The former president said he can't understand why so much of the media coverage of the campaign ignores Hillary's experience.

I can't either. But if the media ever paid attention to Hillary's record, she would have a record. The World's Smartest Woman would be in the pen for, among other things, murder, fraud, money laundering and campaign finance violations.

Sure. Hillary would be much better off if we got past the pablum of the horse race and just stuck with policy questions:

"Senator Clinton, do you favor drivers licenses for illegal immigrants?"
"Yes. Which is to say No. Except when the answer should be maybe."

guess what bill also has no record of experience. The only thing he did was sign welfare reform which was a republican bill. They are experts at campaigning not governing. Do you all remember after Clinton was elected for months he was going out to glad hand in the streets like he was still running? He knew how to win races but not actually do the office.

"During a campaign stop on behalf of his wife, New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, the former president ..."

There is one to many commas in the above sentence. According to Hillary it should read ...

"During a campaign stop on behalf of his wife, New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton the former president ..."

Hillary pardoned terrorists(FALN) to pander to the Puerto Rican vote.
Hillary participated in pardoning Marc Rich to curry donations for the Clinton library which is currently holding documents dealing with “experience” in the White House.
Hillary also has experience with pardons through her brothers.

Hillary will be be a subordinate of Bill when it comes to push and shove.
Decisions are based on opinion polls.
Lamps come flying during sessions.
Affairs will blossom again, and so do sleep overs for the deserving ones.
Besides passing military secrets to China for campaign contributions, undoubtedly there will be another round of pardons for big monies to Hillary and Bill as well as their brothers who continue to remain needy.

Has Senator Clinton ever authored a bill? I don’t mean sponsoring or co-sponsoring. I know, I know, but has her staff ever authored a bill? Has anything with the Clinton name attached passed congress in the last 8 years?

Hey, you never know. If Bill was having a really slow bedroom week, and he happened to be in the vicinity, and the hotel was close, and if he couldn’t find another hottie in the crowd, and if she had to promise him something to get him there, and (especially) if they weren’t married to each other, then why not?

One man, one woman, one night.

Kind of like what Hugo Chavez wants: one man, one vote, one time.

Yep - my first reaction - they aren’t ignoring it, B.J., it doesn’t exist.

Of course, he’s right in that they seem to be ignoring her experience in:

1. Advocating malicious prosecution of employees.
2. Misplacing billing records
3. Lying to a federal grand jury
4. Abusing staff military personnel
5. Campaign finance irregularities
6. Advocating pay-for-play pardons and grifting

You want the MSM to cover THAT experience, B.J.? You and that power-mad harridan you married are a blight on our nation. You are a disgusting pig that disgraced an office that Ronald Reagan revered and that harpy by your side would sell us down the socialist river if given the chance.

Do us all a favor - shut the **** up and go the **** away.

Adding to the Hillary Rodham Clinton record of stupidity under fire...

Barack's leading her in the polls

Barack somewhere said something vague about not running for president for a long time --> It wasn't a planned move... (moi) SO...

In order to prove that Barack was lying Hillary faxed a bunch of radio, tv media a copy of Barack's 3rd grade essay, "I want to be the president when I grow up." ...(moi) So...

Hillary wants to be president and she's pulling idiotic stunts like this.

As per 96.9 fm talk radio host, Michael Graham, you can't make this sh*t up.

Hillary is a lunatic!!!
