I just gave my son his present for the first night of Hanukkah - a pair of slipper socks. We are both getting old; I thought it would be a nice present and he was happy to get them. : )
Peace be upon you and upon all Israel. Amen.
*BUMP* !
Great pix. Thanks. Happy Hanukkah!
Could you add me to your Israeli ping list please?
Thank you
Happy Hanukkah Alouette! To you and yours.
Regards
Tonight we lit the Menorah for the first time ever! My husband read the Hanukkah story to the family.
Thank you, Alouette. :)
My son enjoyed hearing the story. Happy Hanukkah!
Only trouble with Hanukkah is there are no flying reindeer...
Happy Hanukkah to you and your family...
Brings a tear (of joy) to my eye. Thank you so much for these.
Yet another case of Reuters getting it ALL wrong when it comes to Jews.
Hanukkah (or any of the myriad other spellings) is really a rather minor holiday, in relation to any other Jewish holidays. Of course, because of the fact that it occurs around Christmas time (it's pretty early this year, base on a lunar calendar), many people make it out to be the "Jewish Christmas."

I don't think anyone noticed the first time, but this is a photo of my son, at the Hanukkah celebration in Moscow.
FReepMail to be added or removed from this pro-Israel/Judaic/Russian Jewry ping list.
Warning! This is a high-volume ping list.
Neat pictures. Thanks. Chanukah Somayach!
As a Christian, I am totally offended by this thread.
