Sure I believe that, welcome to American where the chamber of commerce pushes slave labor.
I suppose that they are techically employed by the staffing company (subcontractor) for the first 3 months, so Electrolux can say they aren’t responsible.
I believe it’s a Swedish company. Their motto is “Thinking of you”!
Has he called ICE and insisted they raid the plant? He needs to go after these criminals.
The PR connection is very enlightening. Thanks for the Ping.
We vacation up there most years, in Portland. I’d hate to see that pretty little place go bad.

The Democratic and Republican Parties have become merely opposite wings of the same bird, and it’s the American people who are getting the bird as our elected officials serve their corporate masters and the special interest groups that dominate both parties.
Lou Dobbs
I’m pleased to see the media doing worthwhile projects like this versus pnadering and excusing illegal immigrants. More of this investigative journalism needs to go on and expose employers and illegals for breaking the law.
Why haven't the Feds thought of this?
This staff writer is totally confusing me, what does this mean?
LOL. I thought the same thing. Looks like bits and pieces of the article disappeared.
“The Democratic and Republican Parties have become merely opposite wings of the same bird, and its the American people who are getting the bird as our elected officials serve their corporate masters and the special interest groups that dominate both parties.

Dobbs is spot on!
Randstad is the same outfit that provided the Swift plant in Tennessee with its workers, where 1,300 illegals were arrested in an ICE raid last year.
If police find matchbooks from the same country club in the coat pocket of two unrelated murder victims, ya think they might go, “hmmm?” Maybe if our government agencies were required to watch CSI or even Blues Clues...
As a part of a Dutch holding company (and it’s HUGE, the 2nd largest staffing company in the world), these are not disorganized rubes who just can’t keep up with the laws and all the paperwork. This company knows what it’s doing, which is why Eltectrolux likely hired them in the first place, not because of their shiny brochure.
—”To get hired at Electrolux, applicants first go through a staffing agency called Randstad”
I know. It is SOP to add a buffer of plausible deniability.
IIRC, they are still legally accountable, regardless of these shill ‘buffers’.
sounds like the whole enchilada is at Electrosux.
“Big difference between there and eastern Tennessee, Knoxville area, where a lot of the Conservatives reside.
No, the problems with illegal aliens are much the same in Eastern TN, Especially South Eastern TN....Chattanooga, Cleveland etc...
And what does being conservative have to do with it? Bradley County (Cleveland) was the county with the highest % of votes for US Sen Corker in 2006, and usually votes about 70% Republican in presidential elections but they’re having a lot of trouble with illegal aliens...
It would be great if merely being a conservative county did the trick...
The corruption and deception through temporary agencies is very entrenched. ICE could cruise through any large manufacturing plants here in Tennessee and find more aliens than they have cells to contain. I’d suggest Tyson and Dell for starters - but that would take mighty big nads on the Agent in Charge to take on such politically connected flouters of the law.
It’s amusing that some so-called conservatives are calling for measures that allow illegals who “haven’t broken any laws” to remain here. They broke laws getting here, more laws obtaining false documentation and obviously perpetuate corruption to the point where politicians and journalists sound like paid lackies.
Is Hunter going to be in the Spanish language debate this Sunday?
