Omaha Mall Shooter Rifle Pictures Show Ordinary SKS
Pictures from KPTM Fox 42: Omaha ^ | 8 December, 2007 | Marktwain

It appears that we have positive identification of the rifle used in the Omaha Mall shooting. The pictures from Fox 42: Omaha show an ordinary SKS rifle with a fixed 10 round magazine. The same rifle that millions of people in the United States own for hunting and plinking. It is an acceptable deer rifle for most of the country.

There have been many reports of "assault rifle" used in the MSM, and reports of 30 round magazines. It appears that all of these reports are false, probably intended to stir up anti-gun sentiment before the election.

I welcome any other expert information on the identification of the rifle. On first examination I would guess that it is one of the millions of Chinese imports, but it is possible that it is from another east block country. I am pretty sure that it is not Russian.

Looks like a Jugoslavian SKS.

Was the shooter white or black?

To the MSM, all rifles are assault rifles.

Chinese.
Note the spike bayonet.
The Yugo has a blade bayonet and a nato grenade launcher at the end of the muzzle

The photos in the link are a little small for my eyes, but it looks like it might be a Yugoslavian.

All I heard for days on the radio and TV here was “deadly, AK-47, assault-weapon/rifle”. I heard a psychologist on the Gunny Bob show say something that made my mouth fall open. On the subject of self-defense he said that “some people just want to remain sheep”. I didn’t here them mention the fact that he was on mind-altering drugs.
