Reasoning with the Ron Paul Cult is equal to Reasoning with
Al Gore about the Environment
Linsay Lohan about addiction
Jack Cafferty about the War in Iraq
Baghdad Bob, Same problem as Jack Cafferty above
Amadinejad about the Holocaust
Convincing Heavens Gate there was no UFO on the trail of the Hale Bop comet coming to give them a ride.
And last
Trying to convince Ru Paul he is really a man and not a women.

You know, I have another preferred presidential candidate, and don’t think Paul would make a good President. But the more you statist nut-jobs smear him, the more seriously I consider him
I’d happily vote Paul over Rudy and Hillary, and the added spite over you folks would be enhance the pleasure.
Keep it up.

I wouldn’t trust Ron Paul ten minutes with our military.
I’m not comfortable with him and our border security either.
He opens himself up to threads like this. And that’s a shame. I once thought the guy was a lot more viable than I do today. On some things he’s brilliant. On others you want to find the nearest butterfly net.

It could be true that attacks on Paul endear him to his backers. The same was said in 1884 of Grover Cleveland: “We love him for the enemies he has made.” Many of the Paul people are staunchly anti-GWB.

If Paul placed high enough to participate in a brokered convention, I’d put the odds at him getting screwed by the state delegations. I’d love to see the bribes and promises that would come out of that scenario.

I am not a Paul supporter, his foreign policy is way too bizarre for me, but I think you have this in reverse. My observation is that all those analogies could be applied to the Paul haters on this board - ie. the big government types who insist on calling themselves conservatives.
