How do you define a partial vacuum? Compared to the bottom of a deep mine, Denver is in a partial vacuum. It’s the pressure difference, not the vacuum.
Nothing in Science can conflict with the creator of the Universe. If you believe that God is the creator of the universe then you should have nothing to fear from Science. Nothing in Science can interfere with faith or theology, but it can sure shred the hell out of false doctrine like Geocentricism. Do you fear your doctrine is false?
Yes pressure differential would be good :) And to apply it to the thread it is the difference that makes the point. Cold is not the absence of heat. Darkness is not the absence of light. without both neither exist.
Exactly. It's relative.
Its the pressure difference, not the vacuum.
Hey, it's just a word that has meaning within a context. For example a car mechanic will tell you that power brakes work off of a vacuum. If some smart-ass high school kid says "You silly, it's the pressure difference, not the vacuum" the boy is very likely to get wedgie.
