Thank God for Jeanne Assam! Who knows how many people that nut-job would have killed before he was through?

There is a certain irony in that Jeanne Assam, who was the armed guard who undoubtedly saved many lives in the Colorado church shooting and David Lillehaug, a Minneapolis attorney who is fighting Minnesota's concealed carry law to prevent legally armed citizens from entering churches, are both originally from Sioux Falls, SD.

Assam’s rounds made the shooter realize his time was up, so he did as the other cowards have done, he shot himself. I’m sure he was thinking that to be some kind of blaze of glory, but in reality it was cowardice. He was only willing to confront the helpless and unarmed.

He shot himself, BUT ONLY BECAUSE, he was already confronted.

Note to Cal:

The only reason this is getting positive publicity is that that person doing the defending was a woman. Defensive gun uses are much more common than the MSM wants us to believe. Many do not even result in shots fired. If the person who shot this [expletive] was a white male, you wouldn’t be reading half as much about them.

The other message here is that the police failed to catch a killer (and they had ample time) and he went on a second killing spree a day later. The next time some big city chief of police wants to ban guns, you should remind him of how well his people are doing at solving murders in his jurisdiction. In Philadelphia for example, half of all murder cases are not solve.

This just goes to prove that when you need help this second, 911 is only minutes away.
