The Huckster's only virtue is that he is religious. Sadly his co-religionists seem blind to anything else.
There are other good conservative Christian's running, but to many "republicans" want another Carter or Clinton.

Huckabee had a different message: "For many people on this stage, the economy's doing terrifically well, but for a lot of Americans, it's not doing so well." He talked about people who have trouble paying their rent or getting health insurance or paying for college.... Only John McCain and he have urged the Federal Government to combat global warming. "I'm one of the few Republicans who talk very clearly about the environment, health care, infrastructure, energy independence. I don't cede any of those to the Democrats," he says.Heh.. Huckabee is the Republican John Edwards.
What a freakin loser.

Rudy, the gay-loving atheistic gun grabber, or Mitt "Stormin Mormon" Romney
Wow, these are thoughts of Huck's Christians? They are vicious.

Huckabee is weak on taxes (like Arnold), trade (like Buchanan), immigration (like McCain), and ethics (like Clinton). As a fellow Southern Baptist I may agree with his theology 100% but that doesn’t mean his politics agree with mine. When you take all of Huckabee’s known positions into consideration you have to place him on the “Moderate” side of the Republican party. In my view even McCain, Guiliani, and Romney are to the right of Huckabee.

I have no problem with Southern Baptists...(
some of my best relatives are Southern Baptist :^)I have a problem with Huckabee's positions....or lack of them.
I also have a problem with his illegal immigration preference.
Ann was right!

I’m hoping that the Dems are the ones voting for Hickabee......I’d be really disappointed if it were so-called Republicans.

Some have suggested he is too religious for the average American. That probably a true statement, but it is also an inditment about how backsliden [United States of]
America has become. Backsliden, yes! But for reasons possibly more important depending on what it is you truly value and where that perspective carries you. I prefer liberty to the whimsical rantings of a Baptist minister would interpret the bible literally, word-for-word, and spend much of the interpretation time in its Old Testament.

Obama was right when he said we should bomb Pakistan. Bin Laden and al-Qaeda is hiding in Pakistan and we should go and kill them. That’s what Huck wants to do. Huck is also against carving a Palestinian state out of Israel. He said the Saudis and Egyptians had more land than tiny Israel so they should give the Palis some of their own Arab land. Do you really want the next POTUS to continue Bush’s stupid support of the PLO?

So for the chance of taking out Talibanis in Pakistant, we should risk enciting a civil war that would give the Deobanidis control of Pakistan? Lefts make Bin Laden a marty and give his successor nukes! Huck is also against carving a Palestinian state out of Israel. Nope. But Huckabee feels for criminals and terrorists. He will cave in 20 seconds. Hunter, Tancredo and even Thomspon or Giulliani are better on that issue.

Pakistan is not really an ally if they won't help us destroy al-Qaeda. Huck sees that.
You're right that Rudy is also against a Palestinian state, but you're wrong about Fred. Thompson supports the "two-state solution" Huckabee is clearly hostile to the Saudis as has been confirmed by his many statements indicating such. A "holy man" like the Huckster might be just what we need to fight a "holy war."
