Why are the Wheels Coming Off the Clinton Bandwagon?
FoxNews ^ | Undated | Dick Morris and Eileen McGann

Posted on 12/14/2007 6:48:38 PM PST by Aristotelian

In Iowa and New Hampshire — the first two tests for the presidential nominating process — Hillary Clinton is faltering badly.

(snip)

The conclusion is obvious: neither Hillary nor her staff know how to campaign. After the Clinton re-election in 1996, they have never been tested in a competitive race. When Giuliani dropped out of the New York State Senate race and the young Congressman Rick Lazio had to enter at the last minute to try to stop Hillary’s bid, the conclusion was pre-ordained. Hillary’s re-election was a cakewalk against a totally under funded opponent. She doesn’t know how to win.

Hillary’s experience has been limited to the insider back biting of Washington where she is an expert at using her secret police — a small army of private detectives — to unearth negatives about her or Bill’s opponents. (Even former U.N. Ambassador Andrew Young recently admitted that Hillary ran the effort to discredit women who might come forward and accuse Clinton of misconduct.) But, when it comes to campaigning, advertising and winning an election, these folks and this candidate don’t have a clue.

Methinks Hillary's dark side may soon make an appearance.

Of course we are.

The question is, will that prevent them from successfully rigging the election?

Count on lots of absentee and overseas votes. Hillary probably wants a lot of Americans overseas at least until the election.

I wonder how many people The Hildabeaste has working on her campaign? And I wonder what they think of this article?

It appears this campaign’s biggest problem is figuring out how to get history to repeat itself. But that won’t happen because we have a completely different candidate and the media has completely changed. I’m sure The Hildabeaste’s gurus know this. So, maybe it matter of they can’t adapt?

I hope you’re right and the dark side shows itself soon.

Looks like an employment advertisement to me.

Morris is essentially saying: Hire me because I know how to win. I did it for your hubby, give me big bucks and you too can be president.

Toe suckers never seem to know which way is up.

While Dickie would take great delight in seeing the Hildebeest brought down (she screwed him out of his job, in his opinion), he knows he needs to prod the process along by getting the right wing (and as much of the mushy middle as possible) incensed at the possibility of her re-entry into the White House to keep that from happening.

Hillary is a captivating idea. The first woman to run for president, she is the living reminder of the better economic times and international peace of the Clinton administration.

Think about this. Better economic times? International peace? The first World Trade Center bombing, Kenya and Nairobi, the USS Cole. It has been several years since I read anything by Dick Morris. I'm going back to that now.

Ole bj has popularity nationally with the base. The dem base is generally ill informed and or mentally deficient enough to feel rejected by his lack of presence I guess. Maybe he could work on another sex scandal. That would probably boost her favorability by ten points.

But will the mouse yet roar?

When the Beast’s dark army is fully unleashed don’t expect the MSM to ever give an accurate accounting of their treachery and malevolence.

But like being unable to avert one’s gaze at the oncoming head-on crash, it will be riveting I’m sure.

I can’t believe no one gets it. Nothing in politics happens in a vacum. There are many power brokers in her party that are scared to death of her getting the nomination and I am sure are behind the scenes doing all they can do to derail it.

She’s crude and rude and mean enough to run over anyone.

The corruption in this election will be the factor. Why do you think all the voting machines in states that have democrat Secretary of State changed out all the old voting machines. The last election locally used the new machines and there were alot of problem and I complained to our Secretary of State about that and received back an email blaming the Poll workers saying that the State will spend more money educating the workers. That was just nuts, the system is flawed, first the pen is just a regular pen and bleeds if there is any water like snow off peoples clothes. Second, the machine malfunctions kicks out the ballot and you have to go to a poll worker. Now in my small down it wasn’t a huge issue but in other areas of country you can imagine if the have to go to poll worker, then there is the wait. It takes a lot longer using the new optical scan machine than it did with the flick the lever. Huge corruption opportunities.

I think we can safely add Morris to the ever-growing list of Clinton Haters, Intl.

The term "President Clinton" is music to the ears of tens of millions of Americans who have endured the past 7 years of BushCo. Pro Clinton voters like myself remember with fondness the days of prosperity and peace we used to enjoy, including 23 miillion new jobs in 8 short years, no misguided policies leading to 9/11 attacks, and respect for the U.S.A. throughout the world.

Today, our once-great nation is saddled with the misguided policies of neocons who in 2001 abandoned traditional conservative principles of balanced budgets, a cautious approach to international relations, and conservation of natural resources. Hillary can lead us back to peace and prospertiy with respect throughout the world. After Hillary has been President for a few years even her detractors here on FR will be grateful for another the majority of voters electing another President Clinton.

Here’s the problem — Hillary’s power came to her through her husband. Professional women will not be impressed - men won’t be impressed, and poor women who “don’t get it” also often “don’t vote”. That leaves her nothing.
