I've heard it discussed before. I believe he supports Hillary because she is his legacy in effect. She is validation of his entire administration. If the public elects her, they are justifying his behavior and in effect reversing his impeachment. Her election wipes away the stain on the blue dress and cleans up all that aspirin blown all over the desert from his lame attempt to divert attention from the corruption of his administration. Electing Hillary is essentially re-electing him in his eyes.

Plus if she's President she will have all those pesky incriminating documents instantly Sandybergered.

Would she be able to pardon him for his conviction of having lied to the grand jury? If so, then would that not erase the cause for his impeachment and nullify that as well?
