Mom was quite upset that I had upset the poor child to the point of running away, so I became the bad guy and she and my son negotiated the return without fathers consent. The method of destruction was, 240Lb dad with muddy work boots vigorously testing the structural integrity of cheap plastic.
And I suppose you're going to tell me that Nigerian email thingy was a scam. Guess what - the check arrived, it cleared, and I'm a rich man!!
If $9000 makes you a rich man then you must live in Nigeria!
I agree. I have a 21 year old grandson who had piano lessons for about 6 months. He learned all he needed to know and has been composing music since he was 5. When my daughter, hubby, and mother died, he played original music at their funerals. He is very talented and plays the drums and guitar. He loves music.
YOU GO DAD!!!
God bless this Dad. Anybody out there have a problem with him?
Two thoughts.
ONe, I doubt the man’s story.
Two, Aussies aren’t very bright with their cash.
It has, but I don’t blame Rock and Roll for it.
I’m a die-hard rock fan. And probably more intelligent than 99% of the sheeple.
It’s already been paid for, from what I understand.
Your wife will probably regret that.
I would have let him suffer.
Oh, I just remembered the offense. I told him to mow the lawn and he punched a hole in the hall wall.
HA!!
Thought the same thing.
UNLESS he waited for the check to come *and* clear before sending the stupid whateveritis down under.
Guess we'll never know.
...how smart the teacher/dad really is.
Ahem. Ahem.
As a dad of five sons and two daughters.....I'm on your side here and 'mom' screwed up ROYALLY. I don't have to tell you the message she just sent your son.
I'd tell 'im "Fine......buy another one. I'll toss that one, too.......now get your s**t together, boy."....and then I'd have some serious, in-depth 'counseling' with mom about team parenting.
As an axe-slinger for well over 35 years, all I can add is........amen, brother, amen.
Make him pay for the damage.
I’m with ya. 21 plus years I’ve played guitar and I’ll tell you, though it’s become so cliched to learn on guitar, when I learned Stairway to Heaven (one of my first songs) I thought I actually accomplished something.
