MASON CITY, Iowa — Democrat Barack Obama on Sunday confronted one of the persistent falsehoods circulating about him on the Internet.
He went to church.
His attendance here at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, with the news media in tow, was as much an observation of faith as it was a rejoinder to baseless e-mailed rumors that he is a Muslim and poses a threat to the security of the United States.

Using the church in this way is....a sin.
He is a member of the UCC which is the most liberal Christian church out there.
Irrespective what religion he embraces, he’s made it clear that he would not stand up to radical Islam.

He is an APOSTATE MUSLIM. In Sharia, the punishment is death.
One think he can’t do is get all misty eyed talking about the faith of his fathers like Romney does.
As I understand it, its a hate whitey church. I would hardly classify that as christian.
He’s never been a Muslim.
We need to save this for if/when he gets the Democrapic nomination. He’ll be much easier to beat than Her Thighness.

Are you sure? There is some evidence to suggest that he was at least nominally a Muslim as a small child.

Well, that would be interesting to see. I do recall reading on a thread here that Muslims can take any oath or say anything they need to, yet their allegience to Allah overrides all. Does that sound familiar to anyone??
And “at least nominally a Muslim” is all you need for sudden jihad syndrome to strike in later life.

Muslims can specifically deny the very existence of Allah, as long as they do it with an eye to helping the spread of Islam. There is an example of this behaviour in the Koran, approved by mohammed.
He went to a school but I doubt he converted. That would be something that would persevere. His mom is an infidel.
