After seeing the former beauty Cheryl Tiegs on some show last night with the most horrific face lift, I’d rather watch a woman grow old naturally. At least we won’t see Hillary’s hair turn gray.
Would you want to stare at Helen Thomas for 4 straight years?
My mother is 74 and Hillary looks older than she does.
No Helen Thomas pics!
Looks like needs a nicely crocheted shall, a crackling fire, a few grand babies and to stay home for ever.
I 2nd the motion by my FReeper colleague from the great state of Oregon!

I’m not even going to answer the question for you, just want you to think about this. The campaign is Mitt Romney versus Hillary Clinton in our quest in this country for visual perfection, hmm?

We may be in a looks obsessed culture, but we are also in a culture that really likes to (rightfully) take down people who are exalted as being outwardly perfect. Just look at TMZ. I don’t think Romney’s plastic ken doll look will help him much against the melting glacier.
A thread’s worth of brutal comments on this pic can be found here:

Oh my goodness, she looks absolutely HORRIBLE!
When Rush went on commercial break before saying what he thought about Hitlery’s pic I thought to myself....DON’T SAY IT, DON’T DO IT RUSH! I knew instantly the mediaWHORES were going to pick up the comment and twist around. Rush’s comment will probably make the rounds tomorrow...bank on it! They are so hoping for another Michael Fox moment real bad! I think Rush just handed the SHE-DEVIL the victim card!
well you know what they say... all is fair in love and politics
Mostly I don’t want to listen to her!
Margaret Thatcher and Golda Meir were something less than glamorous but I would rate them above the vast majority of men in leadership roles. My dislike of Hillary has nothing to do with her appearance.
Looks should not be an issue in politics. Unfortunately it is, and men (Lieberman, McCain, Kucinich etc) are not exempt.
Just mentioning Helen Thomas is trouble. /laff
