And if the US team ever made it to the semis of the World Cup, everybody in this country will be watching and chanting “USA!!! USA!!!”

Not on FR they won't, speaking from experience.

“the red cross represents the symbol of the brutal mediaeval Christian crusades against Islam?”

One more terrorist attack in America and there’s gonna be a repeat performance. And this time, we’re gonna finish the job.

Have these people seen the other flags of other nations?

What will they do with the Greek team where the flag was SPECIFICALLY adopted in 1821 with a christian cross to reflect the tossing out of the ottoman turks?

It is hard to figure out which group are the bigger wusses. The barcelonans for capitulating or the turks for being such big domesticated female cats.

it’s the proverbial “tail wagging the dog.”

But as I have repeatedly stated before, one more terrorist bombing in America and they’ll all have to pack up their koran & families and go back to whatever hellhole they originated from.
Our ancestors didn’t risk life & limb to emigrate to this country just so a bunch of camel jockeys could come here, terrorize our women & children and make hamburger out of our families.

It wasn’t all that long ago that the imams in Riyadh made KLM take down the cross that was atop the crown of their logo. “Riyadh, the Golden, with milk and honey blest.”

The Crusades were a defensive effort to reclaim Christian lands that had been conquered by Muslims.

Yes, but they were really only a limited counteroffensive designed to reopen the Holy Land to Christian pilgrims. What was really needed was a reconquest of all the umma originally taken from Christendom over the centuries, including the entire Middle East, Egypt, North Africa, Anatolia, etc. Drive the Muzzies back into the Arab desert and let them practice their moon-cult there.

The emerging scandal comes after the problematic episode encountered by Italian champions Inter Milan in September, when they played in white shirts with a big cross on the front against the Turkish club Fenerbahce.

The Turkish media harshly criticized the Italian team, saying that they used those particular shirts in order to offend Muslim sentiments. Turkish lawyer Baris Kaska requested UEFA sanctions for Inter over charges of racist superiority of a religion.

The City of Milan's coat of arms. Racist or bigoted??!! I think not.

Perhaps the Turks would have been less offended by Inter wearing their traditional symbol on the uniforms [/sarc]

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. The biscione, together with the Imperial eagle, on the coat of arms of the Duchy of Milan. The Biscione (‘large snake’), also known as the Vipera (‘viper’ or in Milanese as the Bissa), is a heraldic charge showing in Argent an Azure serpent in the act of giving birth to a human: usually a child and sometimes described as a Moor. It has been the emblem of the Italian Visconti family for around a thousand years. Its origins are unknown. However it has been claimed that it was taken from the coat of arms of a Saracen killed by Ottone Visconti during the crusades. The biscione appears also in the coats of arms of the House of Sforza, the city of Milan, the historical Duchy of Milan and Insubria. It is also used as a symbol or logo by the football club Inter Milan, by Alfa Romeo and, in a version where a flower replaces the child, by Fininvest.

Too bad the Crusaders did not have a big enough defense budget; they could have stopped Islam back then!

The whole world has gone nuts. And it seems to be a trip people are taking willingly. And yes, it’s a nightmare & one that probably won’t end in our lifetime.

I suppose it’s only about money: Selling shirts at ridiculous prizes is a major source of income for the clubs. And they can’t sell them in Saudi-Arabia if there is a cross on in...

Muslims offend me when they kill Catholic clergymen. When do I and the Church get satisfaction?
