Hunter and Tancredo are also worthy but they have no chance. We all need to rally behind Fred.

My sister and brother in law heard Fred at the State Fair. They had been Tancredo supporters but switched to Fred at that time.

This is why the energy is there in Iowa. They have seen Romney, Rudy, Huckabee, and McCain...the comparison of these RINOS to FRED is probably a very good one. The last impression of a candidate is usually the best. They heard the MSM impressions of FRED and saw for themselves, FRED is very presidential and will not put up with the MSM line of daily trash.

FRED was very good on Hannity last night and I hope to see more of him. FRED still hasn’t gone on O’Reilly, and Bill is pissed about it. I think FRED is waiting for the numbers to catch up to what they see in IOWA. This strategy is working and I can’t wait to see the look on the staff of FoxNews when FRED begins his surge and Huckelberry bombs and bows out.

FRED THOMPSON - PRO-LIFE ADVOCATE (true consistent Conservative Federalist and Pro-Life) - NATIONAL SECURITY EXPERT (I’ll protect the American people and values, whatever it takes to stop the Islamicfacists, including water-boarding) - 2ND AMENDMENT ADVOCATE (arming the People and disarming criminals) - SECURE AND SEAL THE BORDERS (don’t give them sanctuary anywhere, don’t hire them, don’t rent to them, don’t give them credit, don’t give them rights they don’t deserve, report all crimes committed by them, it’s called attrition, and deport those who have already committed crimes against America) - LAW AND ORDER (enforcement first and foremost with the laws currently on the books) - SOCIAL SECURITY REFORM (reform a program that can’t sustain itself and will bankrupt the next generation) - DEFEAT ANY DEMOCRAT AND RINO (any fool they put up) – TAX SIMPLIFICATION (variety of choice for the tax payer) - WON’T PUT UP WITH CRAP FROM THE MSM (including stupid questions by moderators and pundits) - “WE THE PEOPLE” CANDIDATE (We the People asked him to run and he stepped up) - PING!

Or Hunter/Thompson. I would be happy with either one.

I believe that he gets more time, since he had the signatures, but a lot were disqualified.

I really don’t know what was up with the Delaware signatures. I don’t know whether they hired a signature gatherer who padded with bad names, whether they just got duped by people trying to sabotage the effort, or whether the petitions were just not properly formatted or completed thereby nullifying them. I’m sure they are doing what they can to rectify it and I’ll bet Fred’s campaign would appreciate some more committed volunteers in that state.

The head of the state GOP told me nope...no more time. Thompson won’t be on the Delaware primary roster...PERIOD.

And I’m mad about it. Makes me reconsider this man who wants to be my president can’t even get THIS right? What could be more important than getting elected?

There were a lot of names disqualified in Delaware but not Thompson. Huckabee...whose staff does seem to be doing their jobs what with all the experience granting pardons and everything, had over a thousand sigs...500 needed...but a lot were disqualified. I was told sigs were getting disqualified left and right...just an anecdotals tale I surmise. They all still made it. Except Thompson. He went in with only 285 sigs, so I was told. Not enough much less the disqualifications.

this is what a very reliable Delaware GOP guy told me.

I loved Fred Thompson. He really, really let me down.

Hey.....Mister or Missus 66....

I filled out a form on Thompson’s web site. I VOLUNTEERED...I check the boxes. I’d make phone calls, I’d go door to door...

...nobody called me and Thompson screwed up Delaware.

The last I heard he wasn’t going to be on the Delaware primary ballot. This could change but I tole my story like I heard it and I heard it from those who would know.

Way I figger...Thompson’s inexperienced staff which likely consists of his airhead wife although I could be wrong...but I figger they didn’t think Delaware was worth the bother.

Delaware’s a little state. Thompson’s staff was waaaaaaay wrong. Waaaaaaaay wrong. Delaware’s a pivotal, transitional state along the eastern seaboard. Yeah, Delaware’s small but citizen by citizen in this little state Delaware has more clout in congress than most every other state in the union. I say that...yeah, with pride. Joe Biden might give non-Delawarians at best, a smile, at worst, blistering hate. But he’s been our Senator since 1972, he represents us well, he’s yet to be arrested playing footsie with the guy in the next bathroom stall. Our one and only representative in America’s House...an odd thing that....was the Governor of our state for two full terms and he’s been around longer than Biden even. Delaware’s important.

We’ve also got my beloved Sussex county, the second largest county east of the Mississippi and so conservative they think Rush Limbaugh’s a liberal.

Uh-uh.

Thompson’s people messed up. Too inexperienced is all I can figure.

This is going to hurt Fred.

You are right. They did drop the ball as they probably should have turned in more signatures to cover those which might not make it through the process. This does hurt their campaign in Delaware and I sincerely hope they are getting some kind of organization together there.

It’s a big deal and a costly one to set up organizations in all 50 states. Usually, campaigns concentrate on the most crucial early primary states because there is limited personnel and money available. If you are still inclined to volunteer, you could try again. It’s possible they had nothing in place in your area at the time and it’s possible they still don’t have much of an organization going and would appreciate some help building one.

I don’t think they did it on purpose.

Sean Hackbarth (The main website guy)was there personally helping with the effort.

And I think calling Jeri unfounded names is kind of rotten.

Your comments really make me dislike Fred, by the way.

Just in case you’re on his dumb campaign staff or are Jeri or anything.
