It was learned today that Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), and John Murtha (D-PA), will hold a joint news conference on Friday condemning President Bush and pushing for his impeachment due to the success of the Surge and an outbreak of cooperation between American troops and Iraqi citizens.
Said a spokesperson, The Democrat Party of the United States has been pushing for increased military involvement in Iraq for years; now that we have the majority, we must take credit for the success being enjoyed in Iraq and in the overall War on Terror. We firmly believe that had this administration taken our advice, to increase troops by 125,000, as early as we offered it in 2003, this war would be over and our troops would be home with their families for this Holiday Season, enjoying Holiday Trees with their loved ones.
Continuing she said, President Bush ignored our advice and only sent 30,000 troops and while being successful, his decision to delay the deployment of these troops, has cost American lives. He must be held accountable through impeachment. Please remember the faithful, patriotic, military loving American Democrat Party members as you support our nominee for President, whoever she may be.
Regarding rumors that the Democrat Party was against any involvement in the war and had previously threatened to withhold funding, the spokesperson said, Those are lies perpetrated by the right wing MSM, specifically CBS, NBC, ABC, MSNBC and others, to make it appear we were against what we were actually for.
Representative Murtha couldnt be reached for comment as he had his head buried deeply in the pork barrel, but mumbled, Whatever I said before, I changed my mind, as long as it gets me votes.
Developing...
Not too far from reality, really.
New name for scrappleface?
Source ? Scrappleface ? The giveaway is refering to their party as the Democrat party, instead of Democratic.
Anyway, good spoof.

Don’t these people have a job they’re supposed to be doing. Quit the B.S. and do something constructive.
If I had my way they would be swinging from a noose.
that’s the intent..:)
These two are real nutjobs.
They need to be out of Congress and pronto.
HUMMMMMMMMMMMM
I need a much stronger source than me ... whoever you are.

Nan: "Can you believe it George? It actually hurt me a little!"
GW: "You want hurt, Nan??"
Close enough for government work.
Allow me to offer you some rope.
Nutty as we think they are, you gotta know the loony left is cheering them on.
A dim loaded Congress and WH would be a perfect storm against a free America.
With GW’s betrayal of America in the last couple of months, I might be interested in impeachment proceedings myself...
Just a little satire. :’)
I was about to suggest that Pelosi and Murtha can make a better case for impeaching themselves. :)
Pretty funny. Thanks for the Christmas laugh.
Heaven knows I have some strong disagreements with the Bush Administration on some issues. Very strong disagreements. But for Pelosi and Murtha to sink to even lower lows by trying to push for impeachment when the surge is working in Iraq is beyond the pale. Pelosi and Murtha (and Reid) are the ones that should be impeached for high treason.
As a former infantryman said to me when I spoke to him regarding Senator Reid’s comments about the war being “lost”, “I was this close to hanging out in the Senate parking garage with a sock full of quarters...”
Murtha will probably keel of natural causes before his term is up, perhaps brought on by the come-uppance for his accusations directed against our troops in Iraq.
glad I was able to make you chuckle..:-)
