This is one of those stories that we at Hot Air fully expected to have to write. Where Washington and border security are concerned, the course of events is always predictable: Congresscritters say what they think they have to say to calm us yahoos down, and then they strike some midnight deal to render everything that they said a lie. We may have to unleash YouTube on these weasels again.
In this clip, Rep. Duncan Hunter lays into the miscreants in Congress who have once again proven that our political class is corrupt and uninterested in what the majority of the country wants done. I left in the tail end of Beck’s opening rant prior to Hunter’s interview to give you a couple of nuggets to prove my point on that. It’s another day in Washington, basically.
Glenn Beck also makes an excellent point about border patrol officers, which could easily be applied now to military members and the CIA agents who had to deal with high-value al Qaeda targets: Why do those jobs when you know with 100% certainty that the denizens of the Beltway will sell you out every chance they get?

The border is just one area that Hunter is far, far superior.
His stance on China. he is the only man with the balls to go after these communist dirtbags.
His stance on the need for industrialization.
His complete rejection of the global warming alarmism
His stance on our sovereignty
His expertise regarding foreign policy and our military needs
His utter contempt for liberals. Built over his entire career, not just since he decided to run for president.
His perfect record on the 2nd amendment
His career long push to DEPORT the illegals already here.
His perfect record on tax cuts.

I would support Hunter in a heart beat for President. His lack of growth in the polls is probably due, imo, that he never really considered himself as as a real possibility and did not invest in the means to achieve the office.
If he had the organization of Romney, he would probably be our next president.
Organization is one of the many reasons why I support Romney.
And I will help make damn sure that the voters in NH and SC and MI and NV and AZ know about it.

I’ve been very supportive of Hunter. Those that oppose Romney don’t seem to have the same standards.
I, if I were in this race would pick Hunter as my VP and anoint him the border czar!
He would get the job done!

Hunter has the people and that’s what counts.
