Hey, I could use that “Global Temperature and Solar Activity 1600-1990 AD Compared”. Do you have an original source for it?

Only indirectly:

Days of Sunshine by John L. Daly

John L. Daly died in 2004.

Drinking Coffee  Former Vice President Al Gore (November 5, 2007): “There are still people who believe that the Earth is flat.”
"Yes Al, at one time that position too was scientific consensus."

Deserves repeating.

The left will be busy looking for a way to connect those 400 + scientists to Exxon.

Yeah, like 95% of them at one time or another have pulled into an Exxon station to fill their cars up with gas....and PAID money to Exxon to do it!

(Don't laugh! This is how these morons think!)

Anyone that claims that the 2007 IPCC report is based on the scientific process, is either illiterate or a flat out liar. The money quote.

...IPCC 2007 Expert Reviewer Madhav Khandekar, a Ph.D meteorologist, a scientist with the Natural Resources Stewardship Project who has over 45 years experience in climatology, meteorology and oceanography, and who has published nearly 100 papers, reports, book reviews and a book on Ocean Wave Analysis and Modeling: “To my dismay, IPCC authors ignored all my comments and suggestions for major changes in the FOD (First Order Draft) and sent me the SOD (Second Order Draft) with essentially the same text as the FOD. None of the authors of the chapter bothered to directly communicate with me (or with other expert reviewers with whom I communicate on a regular basis) on many issues that were raised in my review. This is not an acceptable scientific review process.

Their disclaimer is a riot!

"The Flat Earth Society is not in any way responsible for the failure of the French to repel the Germans at the Maginot Line during WWII.

Nor is the Flat Earth Society responsible for the recent yeti sightings outside the Vatican, or for the unfortunate enslavement of the Nabisco Inc. factory employees by a rogue hamster insurrectionist group.

Furthermore, we are not responsible for the loss of one or more of the following, which may possibly occur as the result of exposing one's self to the dogmatic and dangerously subversive statements made within:

life, limb, vision, Francois Mitterand, hearing, taste, smell, touch, thumb, Aunt Mildred, citizenship, spleen, bedrock, cloves, I Love Lucy reruns, toaster, pine derby racer, toy duck, antelope, horseradish, prosthetic ankle, double-cheeseburger, tin foil, limestone, watermelon-scented air freshner, sanity, paprika, German to Pig Latin dictionary, dish towel, pet Chihuahua, pogo stick, Golf Digest subscription, floor tile, upper torso or halibut".

Beautiful eggman. If you think man can fundamentally alter the Earth’s environment, short of nuclear weapons, you are stupid.

Aha - that's what happened. I looked at the original and saw those extra lines, then looked at your post and noticed them gone, so figured you might have done it all the hard way (which would have been mightly impressive, given the amount of html you would have had to type.)

Makes sense - thanks.

Has anybody been watching Hannity & Colmes the last few days since Hannity has been on vacation ..??

I’m STUNNED at Colmes mean-spirited, arrogant, arguing more than usual, attitude; not only over this issue, but when Steve Emerson (recognized authority on all things JIHAD), Colmes was so rude and was yelling like Steve was some junk-yard dog.

Then, when they were discussing this issue about the 400 scientists - Colmes was even more rude and arrogant at the guy who wrote “The Incorrect Guide to Global Warming” (can only remember his last name: Horner).

I suspect both of these learned men will think twice before agreeing to comment on H&C again. Hannity will not be pleased. And .. Horner mentioned during the program that the last time he was on - Colmes had to later “apologize” - which should tell people everything.

Funny .. Colmes is bad enough when Hannity is there .. but when Hannity is gone - Colmes just goes off the deep end.

Believe me .. I will watch Sean’s weekend show only from now on .. can’t stomach Colmes anymore.

Reasoned intelligence is absolutely no challenge to rabidly fanatic emotion.

Jail them!
Freedom of speech is not allowed for incorrect thinking people.
Everyone knows the earth IS flat.

Uh, that’s the topic here right?

It IS flat you know. Historically important scientific and political figures all agreed.

Not lately, of course, but scientific truths are forever true, right?
