I had heard they had a gentleman's agreement long ago to support the other. Oh well.

Regardless, Hunter is in to stay.

Well, Tanc tanked for me from the start of this race when he PROMISED he would not run if another candidate strong on immigration ran. He lied. Sorry, that’s a fact. I’m afraid some of the old claims by the open border lobby about him being a grandstander may be correct. If he cared about the border he’d have endorsed Hunter from the start. He and Paul have destroyed the chances of us really getting a conservative.

I’m disappointed in Tancredo for backing Romney. I guess since he’s not running again, he doesn’t care about what happens to America/Americans!

This thread shows how Conservatives can eat our own better then Liberals. We spend more time attacking each other than building consensus. I guess they don't call it the stupid party for nothing.

Say Hunter drops out and endorses Thompson. And then later on, Thompson bows out and endorses someone else. Who could that be?

Can’t believe that Tancredo would really back Romney.

It surprised me, that’s for sure. There are bound to be several more surprises in this race before we’re through.

.

.

According to Intrade, the winner of the December 12th GOP debate was... Duncan Hunter.

Tancredo is an odd man. It doesn’t speak well for him that he apparently had a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ with Hunter and pulls this BS. But you had to wonder why he felt the need to get in the race to begin with as Hunter was already in it?! Maybe a bit of envy? Who knows but I’ve lost respect for him. I’ve been losing respect for a lot of conservatives that should know better.

Tancredo allows a gentlemen’s agreement to rule over the issue of his one issue candidacy?

The guy's a nut.
