McCain is doing pretty well. I think he’d be a decent president - he’s wised up a bit since he tried to be all things to all people, I know he’d kick @$$ on some ragheads, and he has some decent ideas on the economy.

After going round and round looking at the pros and cons (and there are admittedly many cons for each candidate), McCain is the best we have...sorry, it’s the truth....

Obviously...but look at Clinton's constant 6-7 point lead over O'Bama. That is interesting.

I agree. There is no perfect candidate. But McCain brings the most to the table (not the least of which is winning).

“There is no perfect candidate. But McCain brings the most to the table”

Such as mental instability and a long history of kicking conservatives in the groin on issues that are extremely important to them?

Mitt is a flip-flopper, Huckabee is a big government “conservative”, Paul and Fred don’t have a chance and Guiliani has too many skeletons in his closet...McCain doesn’t exactly have my view on the immigration, but hopefully, he’s learned his lesson...I agree with him on most of his other views.

I keep pointing out (but no one listens) that aside from KY, Rudy does not lose any red state. So whatever support (supposedly) conservatives would withhold from him, it doesn’t affect his polling against Hillary in the red states.
