How about Rick Boucher? He is a common ordinary congress rat, but he had a hand in the process.
There’s an echo in this thread !!! LOL :-D
They are showing America how well the ‘Rats can run Congress.
A M E N ! ! !
If we are ever again going to be a truly FREE people we MUST end this 90+ year experiment with the communist inspired progressive income tax and the best way of doing that to come along in my lifetime is the FairTax!
THIS is the issue that could give a REPUBLICAN the White House in 2008, if we and the Republicans play it right. (Yeah, I know... Hope against hope...)
Reid and Pelosi’s incompetence and failure to get anything done should be repeated OVER, ADN OVER, in every forum possible, to warmn the Sheeple of thier late checks...
People plan car purchases and vacations around those refund checks, and they WILL NOT be happy if they are delayed into late spring...
Heck with the IRS. How are Americans supposed to do appropriate tax planning when Congress changes the laws during the last few days of the year?
This has got to surpass even their previously preposterous acts/statements.
So the IRS should just have gone ahead with all the reprogramming, etc, even not knowing what would happen - should have 'read the cards' -
A Karmack (sp) Moment.
I hope Rush and all have a blast with this one.
From now on, everyone should anticipate what Congress will/will not do whenever they may/may not get around to it.
Yep, that about covers the way these cretins do things. Great way to run the Nation's business.
This is the whole ball of wax that covers the struggles we humans have been in from the beginning of our occupancy on earth.
And the divide between the evil and good is becoming sharper with each passing day. It's getting easier to recognize those who would pull on the Jack Boots and feel they had the right to rule supreme over the rest of us.
Years ago, there was a small book titled: "Are we All Nazis?"
It points out that it wasn't just the German or the Russian personality that was prone to become Nazis or Communists, but that these people are in every society.
All it takes is for them to get a loop hole in the laws that protect us from them - and they will jump through it to rule us as the 'closet despots' they are.
They are 'coming out' ahead of getting the power, but they are so close to overriding the Constitution, they can taste the takeover, and don't realize they are tipping their hand.
We now know who they are.
We let them continue in office at our, and our children's, peril.
It really IS that simple, that crucial and that imperative that we act against them NOW, or tomorrow, it will be too late.
"Together We Stand or We Fall Apart"mt
There was a university study and a movie (The 10th level) based upon that study proving the problem is with authority not individuals. William Shattner played in it. Good luck finding a copy though as certain groups do not want the conclusion known.
Maybe someone can do a plugin for Firefox which fakes the browser request to make it look like it is a local request for an image instead of a remote link.
Snort. What refund? I pay out the wazzoo every year.
Right.
It's hard enough finding current publications by/on anything conservative.
B & N is notorious for making it hard to find Coulter, et al.
Many book stores, particularly the smaller ones, simply won't carry books by conservatives...ditto libraries.
But they don't call it censorship....
I have a cousin who has books published that two local bookstores won't carry - even tho' they are not political = because of the decades he was editor of the local papers and still writes anti=liberal columns, they refuse to carry ANYthing he writes.
Typical lib-think.
If you think congress would not play chicken with any tax even the fair tax you are truly under the impression the fair tax is a holy grail.
There must be some name for this deranged fantasy.
The Fair Tax isn’t a holy grail (no tax system is), but its a far sight better than the fascist debacle we have now.
LOL! Me too. As a result of the Republicans' failed economic policies we all have lots less loot to give the IRS.
