Carlson Backs Moran Down on Bush=Hitler Card

If whoever plays the Nazi-analogy card first loses, then Rep. Jim Moran (D-Va.) is a double loser. First, for having played the Bush = Hitler card, second, for lacking the courage to stick by his slander.
Moran, a member of Congress' Out-of-Iraq Caucus, was a guest on this evening's Tucker. The eponymous host was hammering him over the fact that despite all their inflamed anti-war rhetoric, the Dems have folded like the proverbial lawn chair, caving to all President Bush's funding requests for Iraq. When Moran could take the taunting no longer, he resorted to the loser's strategy. But watch how he back-pedaled when Carlson called him on it . . .

Tucker is the Gen X George Will. Good to see him embarrass that idiot Moran, though.

If Tucker wants to go back to the 1930’s, then he deserves to be compared with either Neville Chamberlain or Quisling.
To: governsleastgovernsbest
Tucker’s lucky Moran didn’t haul off and punch him .. he has an uncontrollable temper and was once charged with assaulting a young child at his kid’s school (not to mention a story about some domestic assaults). Moran is a total loser. The people in the People’s Republics of Alexandria and Arlington deserve exactly what they’ve got.

Carlson:"Are you calling Bush Hitler?"
Moron:"I didn't say that..."
Moran, you are a despicable human being.

It wasn’t Tucker, it was Dem congressman Jim Moran. Tucker called Moran out on it and forced Moran to back down.

Comparing Moran to Chamberlain is unfair to Neville Chamberlain, who was terribly naive in his dealings with Hitler but basically a decent man who finally woke up--Churchill praises him for his efforts after he finally realized that Hitler wouldn't keep his commitments.
Comparing him to Quisling, on the other hand, may be a little strong. I'm not sure who is the best one to compare to him to...George Galloway?
To: governsleastgovernsbest
So Jim Moran suggests that we are winning victories, but for all the wrong reasons?
Actually, no sense can be made of pretty much anything he says. Yet people like this make our laws.

Unless there was a whole lot more to the exchange than what was shown I don’t see how anyone can claim “Carlson Backed Moran Down”. I see where he calls him on his absurd comparison, but I also see where Moron slithers his way around confirming or denying that he was comparing Bush to Hitler.
At the very least someone who would make such a preposterous claim on television should be tongue-lashed until they pee their pants...

Jim Moran is a fool, and a dishonest fool at that. Even the Washington Post doesn’t believe he should be a Congressman.

Hey Jim!
Hitler was a SOCIALIST!
He headed up the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, or NAZI Party for short.
Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei translates to National Socialist German Workers’ Party.
What part of SOCIALIST WORKERS’ don’t you understand, you moron!

Let’s see, killing terrorists before they kill us, is wrong?
Taking down a terrrorist-training-and-sponsoring nation is wrong? What would Moran have us do? Bow 5 times a day toward Mecca while our behinds get blown away? I think Moran would look better in a turban.
To: governsleastgovernsbest
Now that was funny, certainly not the interview Moran was expecting...(nor myself I will admit!).
To: cubreporter
Yea,
This MORON is my rep. When ever I call this boob’s office to offer my comments on this or that pending bill, I get the feeling it would be better talking to a brick wall.
All I want for Christmas Santa, is for this idiot and his ilk to be unemployed.
