Are you going to try to get yourself suspended once more before Mr. Hunter drops out of the race?
DId I say it was new? Go complain if you want me banned. And my money is on Fred dropping out well before Hunter.
I am not going to complain about you. I simply asked if you were going to give it another go.
And I respectfully submit that you are out of your mind if you think Hunter will outlast Thompson.
I may be out of my mind. Frankly, they should be the last two standing, duking it out. But the GOP is in a stupor right now.

WHAT A CROOK...
The thing is, Fred isn’t the candidate openly pandering to the religious vote, doing commercials with a cross behind him, calling himself in ads a “Christian Leader”. Let’s not forget that the issue with Fred’s work in the case mentioned involved a gag order... free speech. We know Fred is Pro Life because he voted that way every time he got the chance. I say kudos to Fred for not picking and choosing which parts of the Constitution to enforce based on the party involved, no matter how distasteful. That shows a level of integrity that I find lacking in most other candidates. It isn’t hypocrisy in Fred’s case. In Huckabee’s case, all we are saying is that considering how he has portrayed himself, and the area of the GOP that he is pursuing, he certainly needs to address this.

Some far more questionable than others. But you didn’t answer my question. Huck got $35,000 from an embryonic stem cell research company. Can you vote for him?
Don’t count Duncan Hunter out. It is too early. He is a conservative across-the-board. Anyone who is conservative across-the-board should get on the bandwagon.
My first reaction to the candidates was wait-and-see until I learned a little. Then I was fairly encouraged by Huckabee. But now I can see that he is not conservative on many issues and even the main issues I would support him for are doubtful.
Duncan Hunter, on the other hand, is 100% conservative. Yes, I could support Fred Thompson. But his conservatism is not anywhere close to Hunter. I am not going to rally behind him just because he is a famous movie star.
Wouldn’t be nice if for once... JUST FOR ONCE... the Republicans picked a solid conservative for their presidential nominee?
Let’s give that a try for a change.
Come one... if it doesn’t work out we can always go back to sending moderates and populists to Washington next time.
Let’s give conservatism a try. We haven’t for far too long.
