Which, again, shows why we shouldn’t put the Fiscons at the wheel of the GOP vehicle.

Didn't Teddy Roosevelt have a similar problem in his day?

Local Chambers of Commerce are not so blind, nor as dishonest, as the national one. There is a reason for that.
The national Chamber is located in Washington -- where being blind and dishonest is normal behavior.

As someone put it, “Socialized cost, privatized profits.” Yes, the CofC is for taxpayer-subsidized “cheap” labor and if you’re opposed to paying the CoC members’ costs then.. well, you’re a bigot.

The report predicted that employers who fail to comply with the law may face the loss of public contracts that could effectively put them out of business. So now the private sector has become dependent on the government to stay afloat. I don't care if it's welfare handouts or "public contracts," we have become a socialist state.

The “U.S.” Chamber of Commerce should change its name to the Mexican Consult ate Support Group.

The Illinois Right to Privacy in the Workplace Act (820 Ill. Comp. Stat. 55/1, et seq) takes a very different approach. That state's law prohibits employers from enrolling in an employment eligibility program until the program is deemed reliably accurate. This could create difficulties for multi-state employees that otherwise participate in E-Verify and other verification programs, according to the report. Illinois was sued by DHS and has since caved.
