This tax slavery idea has come to school districts in my area where the elderly can “volunteer” to pay their property taxes.

We see people coming South each day and relocating to live.

The Northeast could be over taxing in cases like this.
People relocate for reasons like being over taxed but, tend to keep their political views that got them over taxed in the first place.
Life is very strange.

Davison, who suffers from arthritis and sciatica and needs a walker to get around on her bad days, said she pays about $12,000 a year in property taxes...........$12,000.00
seems kinda high for a little place like she has. real high as a matter of fact

Property taxes!!

Another way to make slaves of people, demonstrated by the fact that they have seniors whipped into submission.

Do menial labor or oyu will lose your land and homes.

It's bullsh!t

You buy property with after-tax income.

The government taxes that property every year.

If you can’t pay the taxes, the government takes your property or offers you the opportunity to “work it off”.

Liberals call chain gangs “cruel and unusual punishment”, but do not flinch imposing the same on honest citizens.

BEN: Ohh! What wouldn't I give to work off my taxes! I sometimes hang awake at night dreaming of working off my taxes. Ooh oooh oh oh. My idea of heaven is to be allowed to work off my taxes... just for a few hours. ..... They must think the sun shines out o' your arse, sonny.
I've been here five years because I couldn't pay my taxes on my cardboard box! They only hung me the right way up yesterday! You lucky, lucky bastard.

Any tax on homestead property is wrong

Gee, I've been saying that on this forum for years and nobody seems to know what I'm talking about.

We now have a whole generation that has grown up thinking there's something normal about taxing the crap out of personal homes.

Here in California the Homestead Exemption is set at its 1972 level of $7000. It was not changed since Prop 13 essentially froze the taxes of the people who bought or owned in that time frame.

But why waste time with pantywaist solutions like that? Like you said...any tax on homestead property is WRONG.

We should own the property we live on. Untaxed, forever.

Otherwise we own nothing and are no more than the slaves of the municipal bureaucrats.

Sounds like indentured servitude to me.

Sounds like that to me as well
