Clinton’s Résumé Factor: Those 8 Years as First Lady
New York Times ^ | December 26, 2007 | Patrick Healy

Posted on 12/26/2007 7:49:30 AM PST by Kaslin

As first lady, Hillary Rodham Clinton jaw-boned the authoritarian president of Uzbekistan to leave his car and shake hands with people. She argued with the Czech prime minister about democracy. She cajoled Roman Catholic and Protestant women to talk to one another in Northern Ireland. She traveled to 79 countries in total, little of it leisure; one meeting with mutilated Rwandan refugees so unsettled her that she threw up afterward.

But during those two terms in the White House, Mrs. Clinton did not hold a security clearance. She did not attend National Security Council meetings. She was not given a copy of the president’s daily intelligence briefing. She did not assert herself on the crises in Somalia, Haiti and Rwanda.

And during one of President Bill Clinton’s major tests on terrorism, whether to bomb Afghanistan and Sudan in 1998, Mrs. Clinton was barely speaking to her husband, let alone advising him, as the Lewinsky scandal sizzled.

I cannot believe this is appearing in the NY Times. Could this be the end of Hillary?

“I cannot believe this is appearing in the NY Times. Could this be the end of Hillary?”

Wishful thinking...it is just a ploy to energize her base (demons, liberals, leftists, socialists and actors).

Being present when something is done isn’t necessarily a resume enhancer. For eight years she flew all over the world on planes provided by the taxpayers. I don’t think that qualifies her to be a pilot.

one meeting with mutilated Rwandan refugees so unsettled her that she threw up afterward.

She wouldn't be much help talking to wounded at field hospitals then, would she?
I doubt she could even stomach a trip to Walter Reed.

She was clueless in the Whitehouse. She didn't even know what everyone else knew... that Bubba was very busy with the Interns - one fat one in particular...

Yeah, return to Camelot.

Anyone with a brain knows that Hillary has the early primaries locked up. So the media brings out all the minor negatives that come to mind,so that later they can say"That is old news we covered that last December!" "Why would we cover that story again?"

That way the media can claim they don't have bias, they attack Democrats when it does not matter and attack Republicans when it does.

Anyone who does not know that Hillary will win the Democratic nomination on the first ballot, only proves how easy it is for the MSM to fool them again and again.

She finally experienced the effect she has on others for a change.
