MANILA, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- An animal rights group on Thursday blamed the Philippine customs for ruining their protest by confiscating inflatable sex dolls they planned to use for a global campaign against fowl cruelty.
"The dolls were seized by customs officials when they arrived in the Philippines via U.S.-based package carrier UPS," the Hong Kong-based group, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), said in a statement released by its Manila office.
PETA said it was hoping to use the sex dolls in its campaign against Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) for abuses of chickens. "The sex dolls would have been covered only with a banner reading 'KFC Blows'", PETA said, "but now that plan has been dealt a blow."
The group said it had planned to take the dolls on a tour of red-light districts in the Philippines, Thailand, Australia, and Japan.
Despite KFC's previous denials, PETA insisted suppliers for KFC often abused chickens, including allegedly scalding them to death and cutting off their beaks while they are still conscious.
"KFC profits from using crude killing methods. We are calling on people worldwide to boycott KFC until the company implements minimal animal welfare standards," PETA said.

And just how did the Petaphiles plan to inflate the dolls?
We all know the only thing p.e.t.a. does is suck.

The inflatable sex dolls were more attractive than the PETA women they brought with them.

One can only wonder why they didn't want to buy the dolls in the Philippines. Also,do the dolls get frequent flyer miles by flying cargo from the US (and do they need passports)?

OK, maybe I’m naive, but how are sex dolls and animal rights connected with each other?

It sounds like your donations are paying for a "tour" of several red light districts by PETA Members.

OK, maybe Im naive, but how are sex dolls and animal rights connected with each other? To your standard moonbat activist, everything is connected with absolutely everything else. And of course, if any of it goes wrong, GWB is to blame.

This is a nation that has seen true torture of human beings by the Japanese during WWII and currently dealing with Muslim extremists who cut the heads off innocent people and kill Godly missionaries.
My guess is most Filipinos would just think PETA is crazy. They are good, decent people. I don’t think they would fall for manufactured nuttiness.

“OK, maybe Im naive, but how are sex dolls and animal rights
connected with each other?”
Well, maybe former FBI profiler John Douglas provides the link.
When he had Saturday night radio show on KFI in Los Angeles,
I do recall one particular incident Douglas recited.
His profiling put his field agents onto the track of a particular
sex-crimes criminal. The field agents managed to sneak up on the
perv while he was sitting in his car at night...doing something
UNSPEAKABLE to a real live chicken.
If I were to give even a sanitized description, I’d be booted from
FR for quite a while.
And I would deserve it.
What disturbs me is that these freaks “walk among us” and many look
like the nice clean-cut, fully-employed guy or (and even rarely)
gal next door.
Oh, and the PETA folks can be dangerous too if they get radicalized and
decide to use violence for their ends. Like the guy that capped
gay/conservative candidate Pim Fortuyn (sp?) in The Netherlands.

Why is it that these PETA Phreaks always need a “sex angle” to sell their insane line of BS? Blow up dolls. Chicks in lettuce bikinis. Naked women in cages painted up as tigers.
I see a sexually deviant pattern here...
