The "nonsense" as I described it is not the US brokered deal between Mush and Bhutto. The brokered deal was well documented to be true and the brokered deal was a good thing.
What I was calling nonsense is the article's blaming the U.S. brokered deal for the death of Bhutto.
OK, I understand. I didn't know about the "deal" until after her assassination. The whole thing is pretty complex, and I can see both sides of it, at least partly. The primary ones to blame are the assassins, of course, but at the time I thought she shouldn't have returned, at least when she did, not knowing anything about the rest of it.
Now, knowing that we and Britain might have prevented it, knowing what a nest of vipers she was going back to which the "brokers" surely knew better than I, and now what it might yet disintegrate into, it has been bothering me. Also finding out that there was probably some substance to the corruption charges bothers me. What a mell of a hess.
