He’ll get third. Good enough to stay in.

Hillary Clinton as president is what should make you ill. It does me, which is why I refuse to play the drive-by media’s game of GOP divide and conquer.

The "drive-by media" would be happy with either liberal as president, Rudy or Hillary.

------

Well stated. And I'll even mea culpa to falling into that track wrt Huckabee - though my serious reservations remain.

There's a psychic gratification to being totally pure. "If my guy doesn't get the nod, I'M STAYING HOME!" Alas, that's an immature and self-defeating posture in a world where we face real enemies.

By which I mean Democrats.

Hank

Indeed. Equating Hillary and Rudy falls under the same posture, and anyone who thinks that way has already been reeled in by the drive-by’s.

If you think about it...any showing at all by Fred would have to be characterized as a hugh win by the DBM...

They have downplayed him to the point that if he survives breathing it's a win...

“Fred’s the featured candidate on CSPAN right now.”

I missed most of it on CSPAN, but saw on the schedule that it will be repeated tomorrow 12/30 at 4:12 Eastern. Fred will also be on CNN Late Edition tomorrow at 11:00AM Eastern and then on Fox News Sunday with Chris Walace at 6:00PM Eastern. GO FRED!

Fred’s plan better take into account an O.J. Jury dressed up as republican primary voters in Iowa.
I think you're right. Fred has a decent chance of taking 3rd place and an outside chance of 2nd, if either Hickabee or Romney collapses and many caucus goers shift to Fred. But I think 1st place is just not going to happen.

Don't get me wrong. I'd love to eat my words. But I'm sorry, I just don't have much faith in the intelligence of the Iowa Republicans. They've proven their utter stupidity by going for Hickabee.

Hillary cleaned up New York? To quote Hank:

That’s an immature and self-defeating posture in a world where we face real enemies.

The base will show up. The base is conservative. Big showing for Fred.

The base isn't fooled by the Huckster or Romney or Giuliani. And the base WILL turn out.
