A very moving story, but judging by the name, Tech Sgt. Hyman Stiglitz was probably Jewish. Thus you might wish to change the cross to star of David.

I don’t know the group number. There are still reunions, but I think all but a couple of Dad’s crew are gone. I’ve never attended one of the reunions, but my mother and brother have gone.
