Doug, love that picture of the Beest, but the one on the left is not immediately recognizable as Monica, surely there are ones without sunglasses, especially where she's wearing her trademark beret, that would convey the point more quickly.

One big question though--of course, we here at FR revile the 'Toons, but how does mention of Monica play around the country? Does it inspire the sucker-mom pity that enabled Shrillery to sell so many books? Or does the pity (if indeed there still is any) play in our favor, in that we don't elevate to leadership people we feel sorry for?
