Cochran:
Why would a Wookiee, an eight-foot tall Wookiee, want to live on Endor, with a bunch of two-foot tall Ewoks?
That does not make sense! But more important, you have to ask yourself: What does this have to do with this case?
Nothing.
Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make sense!
Look at me. I'm a lawyer defending a major record company, and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca! Does that make sense?
Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense! None of this makes sense!
And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberatin' and conjugatin' the Emancipation Proclamation, [approaches and softens] does it make sense?
No!
Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does not make sense!
If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit!
The defense rests.
You lie Elsie you have posted that same thing over a hundred times on RF.

Thus; POLYtheism
No, three names with one essence.
Hence the sharing of one name. (1Jn.5:7)
Correction:
That should have read three persons with one essence.
Hence the sharing of one name-God. (1Jn.5:7)
How does one tell the difference? When I click on the name it reads "This account has been banned or suspended."
Also, just as a matter of curiosity, what are the guildelines for banning vs. suspension? And what are the methods of appeal to both?
Thanks.

Thank you for the links to the Catholic Encyclopedia.
There is some interesting stuff there. I am posting a copy of part of it, but I don't have time right now to read all of it.
I presume the information there correctly states the belief of those putting it on the Internet.
__From the Catholic Encyclopedia____________________
In the remaining New Testament writings numerous passages attest how clear and definite was the belief of the Apostolic Church in the three Divine Persons. In certain texts the coordination of Father, Son, and Spirit leaves no possible doubt as to the meaning of the writer. Thus in 2 Corinthians 13:13, St. Paul writes: "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the charity of God, and the communication of the Holy Ghost be with you all." Here the construction shows that the Apostle is speaking of three distinct Persons. Moreover, since the names God and Holy Ghost are alike Divine names, it follows that Jesus Christ is also regarded as a Divine Person.
But apart from passages such as these, where there is express mention of the Three Persons, the teaching of the New Testament regarding Christ and the Holy Spirit is free from all ambiguity.
The doctrine as to the Holy Spirit is equally clear. That His distinct personality was fully recognized is shown by many passages.

This conflicts with what I understood to be the Nicean creed.
Is it possible that writers of that time were like John Kerry?
They agreed with the Bible before they disagreed?
Maybe that is where he learned the process he uses to this day.
Why is it, that there seems to be LOTS of data about these old geezers from 1700 or so years ago, but hardly ANYTHING documenting the thought processes of those who started MORMONISM and brought it to what it is today?
+++++++++++++++++++++++
1700 or so years ago, a group of good men saw a growing problem in Christianity. They THOUGHT about the problem, and wrote down what they thought was the problem, and how they thought it should be corrected.
Joseph Smith did not have much time to think about correcting the problems in Christianity, he was visited from heaven, and with Jesus’s guidance, he started to correct the problems.

What part is hard to understand about POLYtheism????
I know the feeling!
Why...
I would be HAPPY to understand!!
(Posting your founder's words and writings DOES get 'irritating'; doesn't it!!?)
restornut is a FAKE name; for NOTHING has been 'restored' and the 'message' was sure not NEW!!
It’s a good question Elsie.
Of course, not ever being a mormon myself - I haven’t a clue.
I did feel sorry for the missionaries thought - when I asked them if they had ever heard of Ignatius?, Polycarp? Iraneaus? Clement?
Just blank stares.
They seemed to believe that when the apostles died out there wasn’t too much going on until Constantine “invented” christianity.
Constantine was no choir boy - but he sure gets alot more credit than he deserves for stuff he didn’t do.
“This conflicts with what I understood to be the Nicean creed.”
I’m not sure what your understanding is of the creed, so I’m not sure how to answer you.
There is no conflict between the creed and scripture.
LOL Only in your lemon dreams!
