Clinton Laments Missing College Football
TOWNHALL ^ | NAFEESA SYEED

America feels Bill Clinton's pain.

On New Year's Day, when many sports fans plant themselves on the couch to watch a day of college football games, the former president was stumping through the snows of Iowa for his wife, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton.

As Bill Clinton put it, "This morning, as I was walking out to come here, Hillary looked at me and said, 'Finally, after all these years I know you do love me.' And I said, 'You do?' She said, "Absolutely, you're missing six football games today."

Clinton laughed along with about 300 people at Ashford University, then added:

"I am the quintessential indolent American male on New Year's Day. I just sit around and watch the games, but this is more important."

The stop in Clinton was one of four scheduled for the former president, who is campaigning hard for his wife in the remaining days before Thursday's caucuses.

Obviously, he’s to stupid to campaign soewhere where the football games will be shown.

I heard Jack Kemp say that when he was running for President, he went to Minnesota on a campaign stop. As it happened, it was a Monday, so the local Republicans invited him to come by and watch Monday Night Football with them — Minnesota vs. Buffalo.

During the game, with Kemp sitting there, Buffalo QB Joe Ferguson threw an interception and a graphic came up announceing that Ferguson had just broken the club record for interceptions “previously held by Jack Kemp.”

According to ack, he just slouched WAAAAAAY down in the chair.

I’m waiting for Hillary to ask how her Yankees did today in the bowl games. Such phonies.

Six football games?

Meanwhile in your supposed “home state” of New York they were playing a rather historic HOCKEY game and she doesn’t even bother to mention it. Heaven forbid you bring some good press to a downtrodden part of the state. Good grief...

There is nearly a 100% correlation between those who “loathe” teh US military and those who cannot stand football. That is logical since most football programs are authoritarian and militaristic in style and substance. Bill wouldn’t have watched any football anyway unless it was for a photo-op.

Yeah but his response: you do ?

I could here him now as in it is news to him too. LOL

What a couple of schmucks.

Did you catch the what came out of his pie hole a couple of weeks ago?

I think it was about one of his womanizing issues and he said he was with Hill in a frozen yogurt place touring the facility and he laid right down on the floor wondering what am I to do but Hillary was the strong one.

Schmucks.

Hildabeast must have something really, really bad on Bill for him to let her ride him... e.g. She did hire private investigators. Do you suppose she threatened him with pictures??? Wouldn't put it past the wench.

TSK TSK TSK
Do I sense cynicism here? On FR?
Don’t you recognize true sentiment and sincerity when you see it?

Now that I got that out of my system,

Where do you keep the Barf Bags?

Those two clowns wouldn’t know truth or sincerity if it bit them in the hind quarters

I saw some idiot wussy looking guy with a HILLARY! bumber sticker on the back of his Prius today.

Man did it feel good to cut that simple SOB off.

Did a left turn from the center lane.

He was driving in the left lane.

Some guys buy candy. Some buy jewelry. Some have a romantic candlelight dinner. It was a tough time on Valentine's Day in 1998. Ever the romantic, Bill did this special song for his bride.

BEST OF MY LOVE

When I'm finished signing executive orders, I'm in the mood to get laid
So I send the boys out to find a young woman, I tell her don't be afraid
I give some kneepads to her, and I'm looking down at her from above
If anything's left, I will give you the rest of my love

Then they go out trolling and bring me another who will perform like a champ
And I do not care what the right wingers call her, so what that she is a tramp
But when she's finally finished, dear you are always right there on my mind
If anything's left, I will give you the rest of my love

Oh-oh-oh my dear Rodham, you'll get the rest of my love
Oh-oh-oh my dear Rodham, you'll get the rest of my love
You know I'm very weak and I can't help myself, that may sound corny
But I have not grown up, when I see T & A, I'm getting so darn horny

To me chicks are only something that I play with, they're only made to be used
As long as I'm doing the job I was paid for, why do I get so abused
(I say that) it is my private business, so please don't hassle me my sweet turtle dove
If anything's left, I will give you the rest of my love
If anything's left, I will give you the rest of my love I'll give what's left of my love
