They think Latinos are just too different from us ever to become real Americans.

No amount of hard, empirical evidence to the contrary, and no amount of reasoned argument or appeals to decency and fairness, will convince this small group of Americans -- fewer than 10 percent of the general population, at most -- otherwise. Unfortunately, among this group is a fair number of Republican members of Congress, almost all influential conservative talk radio hosts, some cable news anchors -- most prominently, Lou Dobbs -- and a handful of public policy "experts" at organizations such as the Center for Immigration Studies, the Federation for American Immigration Reform, NumbersUSA, in addition to fringe groups like the Minuteman Project.

Stripped bare, this is what the current debate on immigration reform is all about." -- Linda Chavez

28) "You could argue that even the world's worst fascist dictators at least meant well. 17) "I used to have violence fantasies about Scott McClellan because of the inpenetrable wall of idiocy and supposed ignorance, some of which was probably not supposed, that behind which he used to hide at every press conference. All those feelings are being shifted now to Dana Perino, violence fantasies." -- Liberal radio host, Mike Malloy

9) "I hear about Tony Snow and say to myself, well, stand up every day, lie to the American people at the behest of your dictator-esque boss and well, how could a cancer NOT grow in you. Work for Fox News, spinning the truth in to a billion knots and how can your gut not rot? I know, it’s terrible. I admit it. I don’t wish anyone harm, even Tony Snow. And I do hope he recovers or at least does what he feels is best and surrounds himself with friends and family for his journey. But in the back of my head there’s Justin Timberlake’s "What goes around, goes around, comes around, comes all the way back around, ya." -- Charles Karel Bouley at The Huffington Post

8) "When doctors pronounced the Rev. Jerry Laymon Falwell Sr. dead at 12:40 p.m. EST Tuesday....my first thoughts were not of what to say or write. In fact, my very first thought upon hearing of the Rev. Falwell’s passing was: Good. And I didn’t mean 'good' in a oh-good-he’s-gone-home-to-be-with-the-Lord kind of way. You can relieve the President of his command.

Not of his Presidency. But of his military role as Commander-In-Chief."

...To be crystal clear - I am NOT advocating or inciting you to undertake any illegal act, insurrection, mutiny, putsch or military coup.

...In addition to relieving him of his command as Commander-In-Chief, you also have authority to place the President under MILITARY arrest." -- Martin Lewis at the Huffington Post

"3) A friend of ours said if the same laws were applied to U.S. Presidents as were applied to the Nazis after WWII, that every single one of them, every last rich white one of them, from Truman on would be hung to death and shot. Apparently Rall is too ignorant to know that idiots are ineligible for military service. As a result, the average IQ of people in the military is higher than in the general population.

#23. Not only is Kathy Griffin not now, nor ever has been, funny, but mocking Jesus Christ is a new low. Apparently for her, comedy is about shocking and disgusting people, not making them laugh.

She might, however, have a promising future as a writer for Family Guy.

I dont believe that was last year. Or the year before for that matter. No doubt if someone were following Ward Churchill around with a mic he would have said something equally as stupid.

He wrote it in 2001 and it came out in 2005. No doubt it was on the list in 2005. ;)

LOL! I thought the same thing, but more along ‘she’s singing a song I think Ive heard the tune before’. But honestly, arn’t Mormons a little busy storing away food and building castles to run a conspiracy to elect Mitt Romney? What with their huge numbers and inroads into the Democrat party they can effect the nomination process, and are also simultaneously responsible for Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama being despised and weak candidates (respectively)?

Roseanne Barr is a nut-job. Sometimes she says clever things and you think she might not be a total dumb-ass, but then she says something else....

Homeless Charlie is a character on the Opie and Anthony show I believe.

Wrong.

Charlie was a real homeless guy that the boys found on the street and brought up to the studio. Bringing in homeless guys, getting them some clothes and food, and having them pontificate is (or was) an ongoing bit on the show.

It was not Opie and Anthony saying this it was Charlie saying this in the context of who Charlie thought was hot.

I thought Rosanne Barr was just a bad singer. She didn’t try to change the words or anything did she? I know she made rude gestures at the audience afterwards but i thought it was because they were booing her bad singing. The National Anthem takes a GOOD singer to do it correctly, but doing it badly isn’t a denigration unless your doing it bad on purpose.

Comedians are not singers. Singers are not actors. Actors are not Rock Stars. Despite how many of each thinks the contrary.

I’m surprised Olbermann wasn’t featured more often. You could do a top 40 list of his quotes alone. The guy is deranged.

That was a real touch of class. What you would expect from a friend of Bill Clinton.

Not if you don't believe in Him. Then it's just making fun of a concept like...I don't know....the poor quality of airline food. It doesn't mean anything to her. I feel bad for her, to be honest. My cousin met her in Afghanistan, chatted with her for a while, and said she was really cool. If she keeps on this course, she'll find out the truth in a big, bad way.

The only thing that allows him to say such drivel, is the geographical distance from him and the nearest service member.
