Musharref was probably bored to tears and just sounded “calm.”

A fitting quote to sum up Edwards......
It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

Musharref probably had to stifle a snicker with his hand.

Musharraf would not waste his time speaking with Edwards.
Musharraf is facing a real crisis, why would he want the advise of an Ambulance Chaser?

He helped de-tangle the situation.

Edwards is apparently unaware that Obama’s threat to nuke Pakistan did more to calm Mushy than Edwards’ offer to sue the driver of the SUV.

Who knows, maybe he did calm the situation. Musharref must have gotten a good laugh out of this phone call, and maybe it put him in a better mood for the rest of the day.

Oh, I agree. Why would Musharraf want or need the opinion of a private citizen of another country? Don’t you love the smell of desperation on caucus morning? Edwards is truly irrelevance on parade.

Edwards grandly claimed that his phone call to Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf in the hours after the assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was a calming influence that helped stabilize an international crisis and was proof he is ready for the Presidency.
Oh Wow! What a guy!
Just a phone call and the world is safe again.
Color me impressed.
I'm moving to Iowa just so I can cast my vote for this master of international diplomacy.
Which America is Iowa in?

No really!!! He called them up, went on a secret television interview to give them tips on great haircuts and proper grooming...
Now they are all too busy primping with those little handy make-up mirrors to cause any problems....

Now wait a Cotton Pickin’ Minute.
Don’t question his foreign policy experience.
I’m sure I read he flew over the Middle East when he was a senator.

David Gregory contorts himself into a drooling rabid pretzel if he trips pover his own feet and perceives Bush had something to do with it, but let Edwards make this looney statement and he’s comatose.
So really two stories...the looney left and their looney enablers.

What time did he populist metrosexual call Musharraf? And what time was it in Pakistan when he called? Sounds like Harry The Body’s “Tommy” story.
