Scientists Warn Against Religious Belief in Global Warming By Josiah Ryan CNSNews.com Staff Writer January 04, 2008

(CNSNews.com) - Commentary from 400 prominent scientists from around the world, which was included in a U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee report released last week, warns of a religious-like belief in global warming in the scientific community.

In opposition to the "consensus" reached by the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) last year, the committee report, sponsored by Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.), presents writings and statements from scientists who expressed skepticism or disbelief in global warming throughout 2007.

"It seems that in the climatic area a new faith fight has broken out, which has all the characteristics of historical religion," warned professor Francis Massen of the Physics Laboratory in Luxemburg, one of the scientists included in the report.

"There is an unrestrained contest among media, environmental groups, and politicians to paint as dire a picture as possible," Massen added.

French climatologist Dr. Marcel Leroux, director of the Laboratory of Climatology, Risks, and Environment in Lyon, France, compared the current global warming culture to that of the Spanish Inquisition.

"The Apocalypse looms ever nearer! Without realizing it, or perhaps without wishing to, the average citizen is bamboozled, lobotomized, lulled into mindless acceptance," he said. "Non-believers are in the position of those long ago who doubted the existence of God."

But Dr. Kit Batten, managing director for energy and environmental policy at the Center for American Progress, a liberal group, said the global-warming-as-religion is false. "There is no culture like that," she said.

"Scientists are just getting tired of exaggeration on this issue. Global warming has become a religious crusade."

Warm-monger Gore has the media on his side. He has no problem bamboozling the lobotomized public into buying his mindless dribble.

Most real scientists are turned off by Gore’s propaganda, lies, and hot air (GLOBAL WARMING EEEK). It’s just the pop-culture sellout “scientists” that are kissing his ass. Guys like Carl Sagan have always bugged me.

Remember that high school kid in Canada that had to watch Gore’s BS film in FOUR different classes? Gore-ism truly is a cult, with its passion for indoctrination.

Indeed,and so true!

Yet the sheeple will beleive anything and will demand that the foolish governments fix it and lose all their monies to dems, fems, homosexual activists, politicians and other self serving anarchist living high off the hog of taxpayers on government salaries and increasing liberal self destructive disaster for the free nations of the world.

That’s the real problem: ten years of media propaganda - not just bias, but outright “religious” fervor and propaganda against Western/capitalism/white-male-oilmen/scientific/Christian life.

Thorium high temperature reactor.

There was a german project with a pebble bed reactor that actually delivered some power to the grid but was cut off power and sealed because of ‘economical troubles’ - they had some trouble with the pebbles falling apart and could'not find a company to post-process the burned off pebbles.

The concept is pure genius - because it’s a very straight forward construction and uses an abundant source.

I think the South Africans are following that idea and the US had (or have) an approach with a brick shaped fuel element reactor.

I did some arrangement studies design work on the South African pebble bed reactor, but switched companies and have not followed it for two years now.
