ron on alex jones today, a reminder.

also stop all the negativity, the campaign is on track.

despite media blackout, ron got 10 % in Iowa

might be trolls as was suspected, im sure there is lots disinformation, also as ron inspires so much passion, there are lots of feelings, but calm down, easier to think then..

btw its very suspicious there is no total count yet, especially since the counting is secret with computers...

keep up the good mood, and stay calm and ignore the troll posts..

good luck

“Any sort of conspiracy theory strikes me as odd, and the anti-semitic stuff especially so,...”

Well Ford did have his own newspaper at one time, the Dearborn Independent and he even published a multi-volume bookset called The International Jew.

“Weren’t the two mutually congratulatory at least at one point?”

Good question. I am certainly going to have to look into it. I would be curious to see what Ford thought of National Socialism in the 30’s. Was he like Charles Lindbergh? Did he have contact with the Germans and the party? Damn you for making me more curious. I have better things to do, but it will gnaw at me until I know. LOL!

I guess in the end, regarding Ford & Hitler, does it really matter? At least in the U.S. the number of people holding such views is small. I will tell you one thing, I find posts and posters like that really tend to creep me out. I am sure he is unique and NOT representative of typical Ron Paul supporters.....at least I hope not. Most of them seem nutty enough without being anti-semites as well.

"what was the supposed difference between the views of Henry Ford and those of Adolf Hitler on this topic?"

My own usual, but not very informative, answer to such a question generally runs "Well, whatever his supposed ideology, Hitler was a homicidal maniac, sometimes raving, and whoever else we're talking about probably wasn't -- probably just some degree of resentful and confused."

Probably the only differance between Hitler and some of the home grown variety, Like Aryan Nation and other is that Hitler could kill large groups, and our own, if they thought they could get away with it, one or a few at a time. Fortunatly most of the homegrown clowns just keep it all behind their closed doors. Or play on the internet with anonymity.

I wonder how long until the Paulestinians blame the Jews/AIPAC/Diebold for his 5th place finish?

There's no blame, Paul's campaign knew it would get 4th or 5th. Actually, he was a few percentage points away from a three-way tie for 3rd with McCain and Thompson.

Plus Paul carried a county and got 2 delegates. He also spanked Rudy. I'd say it was a pretty satisfactory night.

So much for the “Paul doesn’t actually like Jones, he hasn’t even appeared on his show for a while” line...

Alex Jones is a nationally-syndicated radio show host. From a media standpoint, it's no different than Paul going on Rush's show.

OK, this officially, completely, and totally closes my book on Ron Paul.

You weren't going to vote for him anyway, just like the majority of the usual suspects on this thread who endlessly piss and moan about a candidate who has a slim chance of winning the nomination.

To give any acknowledgement to a wing-nut like alex jones is insanity.

Alex Jones is a radio show host. Who gives a feces what his personal views are? If Hillary went on Rush's show, does that make her a conservative?

His repeated denials of his Truther sympathies are wearing thinner and thinner.

What amazes me is how totally committed he is to the false world he’s mistakenly created. I’ve never seen anyone so completely fooled by their own misinterpretation of reality. The poor guy, you can tell he’s a good soul and a true patriot, but he is truly living in a parallel world. I wish he’d snap out of it because he’s poisoning a lot of people’s minds, most of them conservatives.

"From a media standpoint, it's no different than Paul going on Rush's show."

Except that Jones has a fraction of Rush's audience, and the vast majority of the listeners he does have all tend to have the same taste in hats - shiny, silvery, crinkly ones, to be precise.
