This story is spreading FAST, and is already up at Huffpost.

The daggers are coming out now, and the DEMOCRATIC PARTY CIVIL WAR is going to vicious and bloody...

If you read any of the leftist sites like KOS, Huffpo, and others, especially the radical ones, you can see how this is going to EXPLODE, and very soon.

The Clinton's and thier cronies would rather bring the Democratic Party down in flames, than move aside for the "good of the Party"...

This post from Huff pretty much sums up the coming DEMOCRAT CIVIL WAR:

“Barack Obama is one big mouth that speaks volumes of dreamlike pie in the sky and wished for aspirations as if he’s the only one, who can do your thinking for you, and make all your dreams come true, then you better have a prayer ready for yourself and your loved ones, cause all of his hopes and dreams, won’t put any more food on your table, or feed your desperate desires.

We will see, that by handing the ball over to Obama, he will fumble it, and the Republicans, will pick it up, and score the White House.”

Grab the popcorn...
This is going to like watching Detroit burn on halloween, from the Ambassador Bridge!

The interesting thing I would like to know is how many non-primary delegates are out there. She need just over 2025 to win and had pre-commitments of 176, plus her 14 from Iowa gives her 190. She's almost 10% of the way there.

Think what the disillusionment would be if the blacks and youth elect Obama in every primary and she still gets the nomination. It would be like the disappointment of supporting McCarthy in 1968 but see Humphrey get the nomination. Very disenchanting.

Clinton has adopted the less memorable slogan "Rhetoric vs. Results, Talk vs. Action."

Two junior senators who have accomplished nothing in the senate going at each other about results and action?

I mean, you can't make this stuff up!

Watch out Barak. The Clinton machine is coming for you. You'd think since Obama is a Dem too, that he must know what he's up against.

(Please pass the popcorn...)

...pre-commitments of 176...

This "super delegate" thingy is a bit weird. I'm not sure I understand how all this works.

What did she do to get these? Why didn't her rivals get any?

The “Democratic” Party uses an anti-democratic nominating system that includes 842 “super-delegates” – un-pledged party leaders not chosen by the voters, free to support the candidate of their choice, and who comprise more than forty percent of the delegates needed to win the nomination.

Many have already announced the candidate they will support.

In a clear attempt to protect the party establishment, this undemocratic infrastructure was created following George McGovern’s landslide defeat in 1972.

It was designed to prevent a populist nominee who was “out of sync with the rest of the party”
(WOW!, Who does THAT sound like??”

Democratic National Committee member Elaine Kamarck called it a “sort of safety valve.”

I still can't get over that Hillary ad, with the gifts she was going to "give" us all.

The superdelegates are members of Congress, state party officials, etc. She may have called in some chits to get them. I think that they can change their commitments to her before the convention but the primary delegates are committed through the first vote. Obama had 76, with Iowa now has 93. Edwards had around 46, now about 60.

It’s a great way for Hillary and Bill to call in their chits. Knowing them, I would be scared if I got a call from them to NOT go along with the program. There are about 4050 delegates and 40% of them would be about 1620. If she got most of the superdelegates, plus 1/3 of the primary ones (33% of the other 2400 would be 800), she could easily get to the 2025 majority needed to get the nomination. Regardless of the primaries, the party “of the people” is still a smoke-filled room operation.
