How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Start Loving Obama
The American Thinker ^ | 7 January 2008 | Randall Hoven

If Republicans, candidates and base alike, cannot pull themselves out of the funk in which they find themselves, it soon will be time to start making the best of a bad situation. Some truly believe the GOP blew its big chance, their first and best chance in about 50 years. They think it might be better, even for Republicans, to see how a Barack Obama might do in office and for Republicans to join the Miami Dolphins and the St. Louis Rams in putting this season behind them and trying to salvage next season.

I actually like the man and now I like him more that he’s beating Her Thighness.. His life is a true American success story. He had opportunities and made the most of them.

That said, I’d never vote for him or any dem running for anything, period, the man is a leftist of the highest order.

Why would she single out “white” women?

Because "Oh, it's twue, it's twue"? Nah, it's because she heard a news report to that effect :)

As to election day, she will do the right thing at the moment of twuth, same as you will :)

Yea, let’s put an empty suit liberal in office who has zero experience. I would rather have a random lottery of trailer park residents.

The author doesn't mention what a mess Carter and Clinton made of foreign policy. Although expansion of social programs (education, prescription drugs, etc.) is anathema to conservatives and busts the budget, inattentiveness to national security issues causes untold worldwide suffering and economic disaster.

The author also glosses over the appointment of judges, which also should be a HUGE issue for conservatives.

This is the same failed argument that got us Clinton for 8 long, horrible years. No thanks.

keep blowing smoke in Obama’s sails. He is a fataly flawed candidate that looks like a child.

What makes hime great is that he is the only Democrat candidate that isn’t shrill.

Obama needs to prepare himself for the laming of the shrew. Hillary is ready.

“Yea, let’s put an empty suit liberal in office who has zero experience.”

Maybe a liberal in a crusty brown pantsuit, whose every flaw we know, would be preferble?

There are several liberal justices hanging on by a thread hoping for a Democrat President so they can retire. If the GOP can win one more term, we will have a true conservative court for the first time in my lifetime.

She would be more beatable. They are turning Obama into a rock star. They tried that with Gore and Kerry and it did not exactly work.

I think the conservative media is just setting up Obama for a huge fall. They killed Dan Quayle on the experience factor, and Dan had spent 10 years in congress. Obama has 1/5 of the experience...as soon as he gets the nomination, the media will start slamming him on his lack of experience and the republican will win easily...

Thanks for that link. I knew he was dangerous but had no idea how bad it really is. What a nightmare if he gets in office.

I see!

Well, God love her. I guess we all look and he is a fine looking man. It does kill me that the MSM pushes this “white women” thing. Like this is the very first black man that a white woman has looked at and said “Wow!”

*cough* Denzel

It is the most disturbing biography I ever read! And that guy is in the US Senate and a big Dim contender to the US Presidency. Unbelievable!

After watching the GOP controlled Senate roll over on prescription drugs and try to roll over on Amnesty, I’m thinking it might be better for them to have a liberal they will actually oppose, as opposed to a RINO they will roll over for.

You never gain by winning. Show me one football coach who says, “Gee, it might be better for us to punt on first down and let them screw up!”

I know some very successful people who once lived in trailers. And I have found many to be far superior to apartment dwellers. Trailer dwellers had pride of ownership in their little abodes. Kind of like the owner of a business versus an employee. Perhpas many here can relate to that analogy.

"Choom", by the way, is a Hawaiian reference to marijuana.

We need articulate people who can state the conservative case.
IMHO, we don’t have any who do this well right now.
And yes being younger is an asset; like it or not. I don’t like it but it is the case.

Obama is scary because all he has is charisma. I would guess that most of his supporters couldn’t tell you what he really stands for.
Other than that “he will bring everyone together”

...and Obama's radical statements on the Palestinians.

I haven't heard these; can you point to some?
