Thank you kind sir. I had no phone dial tone and thus no ‘puter when I came home. Turns out that I had crushed the line when I moved a dresser yesterday. Uncrushed, it works fine!

Friday and today my local afternoon talkshow host has been in NH, and both days he had Thompson scheduled for an interview and both days Thompson blew him off,,,,,doesn’t sound like Thompson is interested in getting his message out.

I don’t understand it. My intuition says that Fred is unfamiliar with Savage’s show, and has been told by his handlers that everything he says will be twisted and taken out of context by Savage, therefore it’s unwise to do an interview. A little homework by the Thompson camp would reveal that exposure on the Savage Nation would be a good thing as long as Fred is honest and is prepared to answer the difficult questions.

The Freddiebots get angry when it is pointed out, but Fred just doesn't seem to have the steam, the gumption, to run. He seems to go a couple of days, then take a week off. His excuse is that he is doing the campaign his way.
But, if he doesn't seem interested, he isn't going to win.
He is going to have to show some gumption, before all the primaries are over, to win. Even many of his former supporters are looking around for someone else to support.

I read the limbaugh thread earlier and my God, the thompsonbots are rabid...they swear that rush has “indirectly” endorsed thompson and they won’t hear anything different....the majority of thompsonbots seem to be very argumentative can’t hear anything bad about their candidate, can’t see past their noses, unless some miracle happens, thompson imo is dead in the water.

I had a laugh this morning while channel surfing.
Turned on CNN. They were showing a live speech Obama was giving. In it, he said 'Republicans have come up to me and whispered I'm a Republican, but I support you.'
I thought, yeh, right.

After the ABC debate, I was leaning toward Thompson. After the FoxNews debate the next evening, I was back on the fence.
Thompson was excellent at the ABC debate.
He seemed to be elsewhere at the FoxNews debate.
Even one of the broadcast commentators made a remark about both Thompson and Giuliani seeming to be disconnected from the discussion.

Will be interesting to see where Giuliani places in NH, ahead or behind Ron Paul! I heard the ronpaulites are just as rabid and the thompsonbots and apparently the are very very weird, dressing weird and doing strange things up in NH. First vote starts just after midnite.

....the majority of thompsonbots seem to be very argumentative cant hear anything bad about their candidate, cant see past their noses, unless some miracle happens, thompson imo is dead in the water. The 'FREDHEADS' seem to be hoping that he is the Great White Conservative Hope, but he is too, too, too laid back and looks like a dead man walking, like he hasn't slept in ages and talks like a bottle of molasses.
I've gone from the Guliani camp to the Huckabee camp and now after this weekend to the Romney camp. Romney was fierce and aggressive and you could tell he wants it, I like his style, and it appeared to me that he was the dominant persona of both weekend debates, altho I'm not that convinced of his new found conservatism.
I didn't like Huckabee dodging his past record, Guliani can't touch any social issues, however McCain is the only one that makes me barf, his straight talk express is loaded with nothing but hypocrisy and outright lies.

Yeah. I found it. It's an hour from here. I'll be driving there to see Van Halen in March.
A little too far just to see Howie.

Hey WITT! Nice thread this evening!
I'm glad hildebeast is finally crashing and burning....she may not be out yet but tomorrow's results in NH do not look promising for her! As for the repub side,,,,I like Tancredo but he's done and gone, I like Hunter but he's going nowhere, I like Romney and so far he's hanging in there, I do NOT like McCain, he just doesn't do it for me, he totally lost me on the amnesty thing, ron paul is out, Giuliani knows NH is a lost cause, Thompson doesn't do it for me,,,,,tomorrow will be interesting......

I don't believe a true conservative can get elected governor of Massachusetts, but Romney has style and I like the way he responded to the personal attacks from Huckabee and McCain.
However seeing that there is no pure conservatives in the race no one will have the gumption to challenge Romney's conservative credentials.
However Romney doesn't appear to be shy about attacking the liberal credentials (flip-flops)of both Huckabee and McCain.
To: rockabyebaby
I'm glad hildebeast is finally crashing and burning Looks like she's out to try to get the sympathy vote, with hurt feelings and now crocodile tears.
She may have to off hubby Bill as a trump card if nothing else works.
